A fascinating place with an almost psychedelic garden! Steve's taste in music is excellent, and wide ranging from Rock 'n' Roll of the 50's through to 70's rock. If you love Led Zep, The Stones, Rainbow, Free, Queen, Springsteen and The Who you'll love this place!Sit in the garden in the evening and enjoy a drink, chatting with friends and people you've never met before, listening to Steve's music. A wonderful way to round off an evening!Steve is having financial difficluties, he claims his accountant has not done his accounts correctly, and he therefore owes the tax man a lot of money. If you can take some vegetable seeds out to him he would appreciate it so he can grow his own food, as he says he can't afford the seeds!

We visit Steves bar every night when in Anoxos and absolutely love it. He is a friendly guy and is always ready for a chat. The drinks are cheap and the service always good. The garden is a great place to sit with friends have a chat, a good laugh and listen to good music.

We went into steve's bar in September 8 of us. We ordered 4 wine 4 beers the wine was sour ( corked ) the Mythos was normal Mythos with red lids the beer was flat we got rid into the plant pots and left never to return.

have visited steves bar over a number of years and this year i see he was stocking mythos beer with the red tops must be a promotional brand ill leave this to your own imagination the red wine he served the women ended up in the plantpot as there were no fish and chips around he reckons he may not be open next year because of taxes the garbage hes serving up may close him earlier

Different to anything in Anaxos but well worth a visit.Decor different !!!! Like a trip back in time.He says might not be open next year as new taxes are going to kill of a lot small outlets

Went one night and Steve was very welcoming. Went following night and he couldn't be bothered. His daughter served our drinks and I don't think I've been served by anyone as surly and rude before! Didn't return.

This was the only bar I ended up using when over there. Talk about a retro-step . This place lived it. As a 60/70s rock music nut it was like a dream come true. Friendly and not expensive. The decor was obviously done by someone who was using LSD. I will return...

Still a wonderful place 12 months on , a good mix of nationalities and great value drinks .Steve's bar is THE place to meet and make new friends in Anaxos , usually a familiar face or two from a previous years visit as well . A great night is guaranteed if you are lucky enough to be there when the Jam Nights are on .Can't wait to return . Anaxos Rocks !!! And so does Steve's Music Bar!!!

An amazing little bar with cheap drinks and great music - sometimes a 60's night, sometimes 70's and also 50's. A special garden area. Steve is a great guy who always makes you welcome.See you next year.

Lovely place to wind down at the end of the night or start her on your way out.Lovely guy, loves his music but keeps the noise down late at night.Very trusting guy & has got ripped off this year with a guy who ran up a bill of 200 euro than beggered off back to England, how bad is that.A must to go have a drink.

What a great guy, and good music. It was our 1st time in Anaxos and Steve made us very welcome, lovely chill out bar, his collection of wooden carvings was very interesting and his garden is something to be proud of.The drinks prices were very competitive and generous.A good place to meet and make friends.We were lucky enough to be there when the Siberian Hampster made an appearance. !!

Not sure who, or why, but my review of Steve's Bar was removed, (But my photo stayed on).A great night out is always on the cards at Steves, good music, fantastic beer garden and a fine host.
