The sea is lovely but there is only a poor cantine around or some nearby tavernas of low quality food. I wouldnt recoment it.

We took surfing classes there. Service is good, parking access and restaurants at the beach are fine. Most important, clean sand, steady wind

We were just out of season , so it was really quiet . But I can imagine what it would be like `in season` packed with sun-beds as there is a lot of rooms along the beach

This beach stretches for about 4 kilometres to the west of Gythio and despite the fact that there are numerous lowrise hotels and pensions behind the beach, they were all relatively spread out and the beach was still uncrowded. The beach has the Blue Flag award for cleanliness and water quality. The water was glassy and calm in the mornings but coppy from lunchtime on and popular with windsurfers.

Lovely long beach, mainly sandy. Numerous bars scattered along its length. Nice to walk along it. Romantic, even!

Quiet in Sept (how I like it). Beautiful ocean...not the best sand. Nice, relaxing place after you've spent the morning running around.

A huge sand beach with clear waters, with not a lot of tourism in the area, sea turtles lying their eggs but it gets windy pretty often.

It was a bit of a dissapointment because not only there were too many people on the beach, but the taverns are built very close to the sea so you cannot really relax swimming and smelling the kitchens boiling the french fries and stuff..

We have been to this area several times over the years. The water is clear and blue and the beach is lightly pebbled. No giant rocks to hurt your feet on. The beach is very long and has free chairs and umbrellas to lounge on. There are restaurants across the street which will deliver their food to the chairs on the beach or to tables under the trees.

Near Githio ,a long beach with Free of charge umbrellas and sun beds from Mani Municipality ,with clear water ,to enjoy swimming and sea sports ,special wind surfing,just perfect.

A beach unspoiled and rather empty until a few years ago, which the tourist development is turning into a heavily crowded area, with many hotels in the vicinity.

It is a long sandy beach with plenty of space. Its openness though, results to frequent wavy water, which is not ideal for kids but also for adults
