Best entertainment in the area by far and great service, it really made our holiday a lot better thanks to the staff.

Brilliant place to come, when we found this place we came back every night, will be coming back to crete just to come here again!

Got recommended this bar from our friends who went there last year and from Our Hotel The Creta Panorama if your in the area its defo worth a visit our family and friends called in a couple of times even though we were allinclusive at our hotel great food and local beer and to have a chat with owners who were from our local area back home .2 large TV screens to see the sports dart board in the corner.Food was great the kids loved the burgers and chips.Ice cold local beer hits the spot a big thanxs for the welcome and laughs we had.PS the Soulman shows are great singer amazing .Harris and Smith family Kippax Leeds.

An amazing singer. Don't miss hearing him. This bar would be nothing without him. However the bar staff are attentive and serve drinks to enjoy. The pinacolada is excellent. A pity about the poor state of the furniture.

Great little watering hole especially if you like people watching. For e.g. the manager at work charming the many young blondes he temps into his bar and the resident soul singer; who never comes up for air except when he thinks someone is ogling his bird and then he stares with his dagger like "eyes" at them. Good for a laugh and great nostalgic live music.

We spent a lot of time in this bar and loved every minute Great atmosphere and billiant service.I am sure there are slightly cheaper places to get a Mojhito but not where they waitress cuts the mint fresh from the bush in the window box.Different singers perform on different nights but whatever night you go you can expect a laid back atmosphere with great service and a lot of laughs. We used this bar nearly every day when we stayed in Rethymnon. Great bar for snacks and the entertainment/sports coverage is excellent. The owner opened up especially early for us on the day we left because we had to vacate our apartment early.

What a fantastic find this place was! ... We were staying in a villa on the outskirts of Rethymnon when we stumbled across "Eyes" by accident whilst driving through Platanias. The sign outside caught my eye and i slammed on my brakes as i couldn't believe what i was seeing, somewhere offering BRITISH FOOD! We were on the island for 2 weeks, we actually got married in Rethymnon just 3 days into our stay and the remaining 11 days were for pure relaxation and family time. We had tried alot of food joints down in the old town and were growing sick of the usual food that was available to us and we were craving a little something from back home. That was why i was so shocked when i saw the sign outside Eyes ... "Full English Breakfast" ... "Traditional Curries" ... "Sunday Roasts" ... just what the doctor ordered!!I pulled over and booked us in that evening for a curry and what an absolute delight that was, freshly cooked by Aiden and the taste was absolutely superb!We stayed to witness the "Soul Man" and were impressed with his vocals and the way he brought people into the bar, on his first song we were alone with just 1 other couple, by the 3rd or 4th song the bar was over half full and then by mid interval the bar was heaving, great job.For anyone looking for a quaint, pleasant place to drink and to taste some of the food we miss from back home then this is the place to visit whilst in the Rethymno/Plantanes area.We also went back the following day for the Full English and were equally impressed!

Great place for visiting if you like football and MUFC music very good mr soul man BEM top singer and the owners who know nothing about footsie aren't too bad good food as well cooked by Aiden I will update this review after I call in August 2014 but a nice place too get drunk and enjoy live music !

This is a great bar with life music. Unfortunately there aren't very many live music venues in Platanias, so this bar is well worth a visit. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great. Well worth popping in.
