We saw this boat on Trip Advisor just before setting out to Katapola and we contacted Bertrand on our arrival on the island. We had a look round the boat and we took a day trip from Katapola. We arrived at 10 and the trip finished at 8 at night. We took our passports, swimming costumes plus spare, towels and sun cream. On our arrival Bertrand offered us a drink while he completed the formalities with the port authorities, that is why you need your passports! We sailed from Katapola to the famous site of the wrecked ship that was used in the famous French film The Big Blue. Bertrand can recite lines from the film if you want! We took pictures and he asked us if we wanted to swim off the boat but we decided to keep that for later. We sailed past two tiny islands and Bertrand will give you the history and information for any sight that you pass as you sail along. We anchored up in a bay near Kyros with goats and a donkey watching us we swam off the boat. There is a ladder that allows you to climb the side of the boat and slip in to the water. The sea was so clear and blue you could see little fish and off the boat we saw two orange striped fish. There are awnings on the boat to protect you from the sun. There are padded mats with pillows that you can move to different parts of the boat to sunbathe. There is a tiny toilet which was immaculately kept. Whilst we were swimming Bertrand was preparing lunch. We started with crisps and nuts and we tried a sweet Amorgos wine and Raki produced by a friend of Bertrand's. We opted for lager and red wine. The lunch was fresh green spinach cooked with rocket and tiny beetroots on top, greek salad, roast spicy potatoes, beef burgers and Fava dip, bread. Most of the produce was home grown by Bertrand's friends. Dessert was fresh apricots and cherries decorated with ice, see photos. We had chocolate chip cookies and either tea or coffee and more chocolate chip cookies! Delicious food! Later on in the afternoon following our siesta Bertrand made us pink Gin and Tonics as taught to him by British sailors! We sailed back and Bertrand raised the sails in an attempt to fully sail back but due to the wind conditions this was not possible. On arrival in port we expected to disembark but Bertrand offered us another pink gin and we sat down to chat about the day and enjoy the gin and bitter lemon. My husband has sailed and was desperate to help but Bertrand manages the boat single handed. We should have mentioned at the start of the day that he would like to join in with the practical sailing aspects! I wish we had known about the boat prior to our visit and we would have booked a couple of nights sailing and sleeping on board. It would be huge fun with a group of 8 friends. The boat has two cabins with double beds and one cabin with four bunk beds. There are two toilets each with a shower. Bertrand has his own cabin at the front of the boat. He mentioned that when you sleep over night he likes to buy fish from the local fishermen and moor in a bay and barbecue, which sounds lovely. Thanks for the wonderful experience Bertrand as you said to us it will be a day that you never forget! The cost including drinks and lunch was 122 euros per person for the 10 hour trip. Comme cadeau d anniversaire, j ai eu le privilège de faire une croisière d une journée sur ce bateau avec Monsieur le capitaine Bertrand et autant dire que c'était exceptionnel !!!!Un départ du port d Amorgos avec un accueil des plus plaisants .. Et en route pour Keros, dans un endroit secret qui vous en met pleins les yeux : une énorme piscine d'eau bleue turquoise, seul au monde ... Une vraie merveille pour se baigner !!!!!Le tout suivi d'un déjeuner exceptionnel, le capitaine se transformant en cuisinier attentionné, nous ayant préparé de délicieux poissons cuits au feu de bois, au goût et à la saveur proche de la langouste, accompagné de pommes de terre croustillantes et de courgettes du jardin ... Le plaisir peut se résumer aussi simplement !!!!Le retour à Amorgos fut tout aussi exceptionnel : voiles déployées, Bertrand nous faisant partager son amour de la voile et me mettant à la barre ... Un moment gravé dans ma mémoire !!!!Bref, si vous voulez avoir une journée exceptionnelle, y aller les yeux fermés, Bertrand saura vous surprendre et vous combler !!!!Un énorme bravo (et aussi a Frida pour son excellent café et sa joie de vivre !!!!!)

Une expérience unique: partir d'Amorgos vers les petites cyclades, à la découverte de "piscines naturelles" sur un vieux gréement! Partis au départ pour la journée, nous avons finalement décidé de passer deux jours et une nuit sur le bateau. Hors du temps...Le loup de mer existe encore, nous l'avons rencontré sur le petit port de Katapola: Bertrand, le skipper, a reconstruit lui-même ce voilier selon les usages de l'époque: un travail magnifique!Le bateau est joli, spacieux, confortable, Bertrand nous a cuisiné des petits plats locaux délicieux et nous a emmenés dans des coins paradisiaques où nous étions seuls au monde.Merci Bertrand pour cette belle aventure!

Nous avons été accueilli par Bertrand au port de Lipsi, direction Kos en 7 jours de croisière : 4 adultes et 4 enfants (9, 10, 12 et 14 ans). C'était une découverte pour nous tous, mais quelle magnifique semaine... Le retour à la réalité a été très difficile !De Lipsi à Kos: petites criques quasi désertes à l'eau cristalline, tavernes typiques et bucoliques (un coup de pour celle de Leros), des repas délicieux, variés et préparés avec soin par Bertrand avec des produits locaux, des barbecues sur le bateau, etc. Les enfants ont adoré et se sont construits un vrai monde de pirates avec la pavillon hissé! Croisière conseillée à toutes les personnes de tout âge, pour déconnecter totalement. À refaire.Merci Bertrand pour ton professionnalisme, ton sens du contact, tes talents culinaires, tes histoires de marins racontées avec passion, ton accueil de familles mon expérimentées en voile, sans jugement, ton ouverture aux demandes quelques fois loufoques des enfants, bref MERCI pour cette belle semaine inoubliable. Et bienvenue en Suisse si un jour tu fais escale vers chez nous!

L'émerveillement est là, au coeur de la Mer Egée...L'âme des Cyclades recèle tant de richesses...Félicitations à vous Capitaine pour cette générosité qui vous anime...Guidé par votre appétence à viser la qualité à bord de votre voilier "Morgkan", notre croisière fut magique.Le raffinement de la vie à bord et le confort sont autant d'invitations à la détente.Pouvoir encore en rêver !!!Magali
