Nature has created something really perfect you dont see it every day . its a bit hard and dangerous to go down but if you try it really worths it
A must visit to Milos - a stunning beach, but bring your own shelter and drinks though as the white rocks reflect the sun with an intensity. incredible landscapes and swimming. Well worth a visit!
Easy drive from Pollonia. Small beach with some privacy. There are several small chapels to visit nearby. There is ample parking. It's a small space so first come, first serve, but even it you just want to look and take a view pics it is ok.
The beach is small and right next to the road. The day we were there it had a lot of rubbish washed in, perhaps because of the wind direction. Sarakiniko beach was much nicer for a similar experience.
This is a small beach between two huge rocks. The place is unique and amazing. It is a bit difficult to go down but is really worth a try!! You can swim and explore some caves as well. The fist time we went there the water was clean and nice. But when there are north winds it can be black and dirty. So it would be better to visit it when there are not north winds. Amazing place for fotos.
This beach is worth of visiting and taking some good photos, but you won't enjoy swimming in clear waters. North winds are carying garbage from the open sea into this slit and many times waters are muddy. However, access is not so difficult. There is a parking right after the beach and then you just have to be a little careful while climbing down the path.
Special tiny beach with writings on the rocks surrounding the beach. Dont let the carved in rock stairs frighten you!
caves which can only been seen from above the cliffs, but worth seeing & to take some photo's, literally only for 10 min visit.
Compared with Milos' great places, it does not appeal to me in general (Sarakiniko or Alogomantras being very close).Worst of all, is the dirt floating around and gathered at the beach. The authorities of Milos should be ashamed of such a beach, spoiling many good impressions that we have... Hence the unofficial 1* to those folks for not cleaning up once in a while their natural resource no 1!
Someone fell down th man made stairs built into the rock and died here a few years back. It is fenced off and is extremely dangerous to hop the fence to go down to the tiny beach. It looked beautiful, but not worth the risk—there is another fabulous swimming hole just down the road and nearly 80 amazing beaches all over Milos. Don't be disappointed, just go somewhere else.
We saved this beach for the end of our trip and unfortunately it was such a windy day so we could not enjoy the swim, but we sure did enjoy the fantastic surroundings and views from here.
This beach is easy to get to and easy to see from the parking lot. Yes there is a sign that says "danger" on the way to the shore. My husband and I attempted it, he went all the way down and took pictures, I went about half way. A group of teens has just come up off the beach as we got there. The sight is beautiful, but the water looked kind of dirty right at the shore and there was some trash that I saw. My recommendation is to pull in, get out of the car and enjoy from above and at least take a look at how to get down there, get some nice pictures to make your friends jealous, then go to a cleaner more accessible, equally beautiful beach.
A great beach to travel to if you have children or are going to be hungry while you are there. There are bars and restaurants available to the public, as well as rentals of lounges and umbrellas. Easy to find and plenty of parking along the streets. Relaxing in June but may be crowded in the peak months.
Papafragas beach is a bit like sweet and sour, sweet because in isolation is quite an interesting little beach that looks more like a private swimming pool but sour because getting to it is not easy and there are other beaches and sights that in my opinion are a better use of time
It's not far away from Pollonia and while searching for the archeological places we came across this wonderful beach. Which in fact is very neat and tidy
