隐藏在老城区的很漂亮的小美术馆,Tim在这里售卖当地艺术家的作品,克利特岛来的陶器制品,以及由早期基克拉迪艺术影响下的陶器制品。其他你可能发现的宝贝包括画框,包包和卡片,人工制作的皮质钥匙扣和小荷包,还有设计经典的罐子和碗。在这里真的能给家那边的朋友和家人选到一些很特别的礼物,很不错。

纳克索斯岛的古镇是值得一去的地方。如果有时间,那么白天的时候,绕着古镇走一圈,好好欣赏古镇的样子。傍晚的时候,可以在小巷子里走走,会发现很多卖当地特产和纪念品的小店、餐馆和卖蜂蜜,葡萄酒还有纳克索斯岛小商品的商店。纳克索斯岛的最高处有一家餐馆,坐在里面吃饭的时候,还可以欣赏到纳克索斯岛美丽的日落。在古镇的小巷子里穿梭,你会沉浸其中,享受它的魅力!

很值得傍晚6点之后去游玩,这个时候所有的店铺都开始营业了,直到大约午夜。有很多小酒馆,从卡斯特拉基可以俯瞰到海港壮丽的景色,记得随身带一双平底休闲鞋!

一年的这个时候去很棒,除了当地人,我是唯一一个在那里散步的人。这让我有机会真正感受这里的建筑和道路。

Get lost in the old town. Simply walk around and enjoy the tiny streets, the rock houses and the terraces on the sea. It's full of life, small bars and cafeterias in every picturesque corner and excellent tavernas to enjoy eating and drinking at any time.

I didn't know much about Naxos, because it is not top famous destination offered in travel agencies all over the world. You always have options like - Rhodes, Mykonos and so on.To my surprise, I found it probably the best place in Greece to spend your vacations, if you are a person who likes more noble and non-party places.Complete Naxos is a jewel, and I warmly recommend renting car and explore the island. If you are going to sit in front of the hotel and go to the nearest beach - why lose time going this far?What distinguishes Naxos from other places is that it is not a place for party and teenagers collapsing all around from drinking. Entire Naxos is noble, clean, peaceful, friendly, quiet, full of attractions, interesting beaches, and operates as a small state - with developed agriculture, organic fruits and vegetables, everything domestic, healthy, everything exists and is being produced there on the island, working like a clock.Apply this description, and especially the part about cleanliness, friendliness, peacefulness, to old town too. The town is beautiful, with those typical colourful narrow streets. No cars uphill, not possible. :) A big colourful and artistic labyrinth.Several historical places and museums to visit (Bazeos tower, Venetian museum, Archaeological museum), interesting streets, plenty of art shops with not your typical souvenirs, but - oh my! You'll wish you had millions. :)There are plenty of taverns too, for those who want to sit and enjoy food and drink.

Having been to Naxos six times and spending a month there each time speaks for itself really, it is a beautiful place to visit and explore or just chill out by the sea in the many local tavernas in Naxos town or in the many surrounding idyllic villages. The people are so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much bother for them, Naxos town is so quaint with the castle and narrow winding streets full of little shops and the local market with its variety of foods, spices and goods. We stayed in a family run hotel named Anatoli which I would thoroughly recommend , Maria will make you very welcome and it is very reasonably priced with all that you need for an enjoyable stay. Go to Naxos and you will want to go back again and again I promise you.

a very great pleasure to come back there whenever is possible in spite of the great capharnaum of the invading ugly (not always) tourist shops everywhere…at the top a venetian castle which is still standing up and in which you can listen to concerts of greek music… the typical cycladic way to design the small and straight little street to protect from the sun or from the invasors (in ancient times I suppose)

This was interesting and quaint and well maintained to it;s former build. You could wander for a few hours and not be bored. Some nice shops and restaurants within. Nice glimpses higher up of the town and sea.

It is very relaxed and small but definitely worth a walk. Old Market area is of special interest. Do not rush and experience the charm.

Fantastic spot to get away from the hustle & bustle of December. The weather is in the high teens, most days are sunny, there are plenty of cafes open to while away the hours and some superb historical sites to visit

The old market in Naxos is a maze of narrow streets with shops and restaurants. It is a fun way to use an hour or two, depending upon your tolerance for shopping and if you choose to have a meal. It's a great path to follow while going to the castle and return down a different path.

In a hot afternoon we decided to visit old town: it is a mix of history and comerce,with very narrow streets bordered with interesting souvenirs shops ,that all lead to the castle on the top,after an easy climb.We even get lost and did circle around in the attempt to find a restaurant with the motto " find us if you can "but at the end all went good.This is a nice way to spent some relaxing time in a nice town !

What an amazing place to wander round - and get lost - we found new bits of it every time we walked round. The alleyways bend in all directions, until you don't know which way you are facing, it's like stepping back centuries.
