maria's famous karaoke fun pub

was there last august, had a good night, staff where friendly and good prices on beer and spirits, place was packed, and a good place to hang out,

Arriving at end of Sep all the clubs are closed and only a handful of pubs/restaurants open, which was ideal for us. Found Maria's pub on the first night and spent the rest of the week there as the hospitality was second to none. Met up with some lovely people here. Many thanks to Maria, Takis,Alexandra and the great barman Spiros, who went out of his way to ensure he replenished our favorite drinks ready for the following evening. Takis the DJ even managed me to get up for the Karoake which was a first (and probably the last) Thank you all for a fabulous time.

As soon as myself and fiance walked in we were greated with smiles and made to feel welcome.we were looked after that we went back everyday.they had the whole pub wish me happy birthday and I actually felt at ease to go aing a bit of karaoke.soo generous free shots with drinks.so always looked after to have a good night :) love you maria and family :) see you one day soon....

I usually don't write reviews on restaurants/bars only if something really sticks out.We arrived in Kavos at the end of the season. This review is not based on the fact that this bar was one of only few left open as "town" was closing down for the winter. I am quite happy that actually we stumbled upon this little gem!What can I say? Maria - the owner alongside her husband are the warmest people I have ever met! As the season was ending there was no taxis and our apartment was 35 minute walk she had no problem offering right away to bring us back to the apartment at the end of the night.The bar has amazing atmosphere and despite the town being dead this place was HOPPING every night - that says it all!The drinks are lovely and reasonably priced and their karaoke every night helps to get people acquainted together and have fun as a whole!Maria - if you're reading this thank you for everything!!! It was pleasure meeting you and hopefully one day we will see you again! If not in Kavos then maybe at our wedding ;)

Probably one of the most visited pub in kavos by all ages Maria and her family make every one so welcome and whether you get up to sing on karaoki or not you will have a great night we have been going to kavos for 25years now and always tell people to pay a visit there

Maria is a great hostess, entices you into the bar settles you in, gets the drinks organised, what more can you want. Yes it is loud and lively which is what you can see from outside, so why go in if its not your kind of place then moan about it. Thanks Maria and her hard working staff for some very good nights.

A good place to go for cheap drinks and karaoke. Had lots of fun in here and we even danced on the bar!! Great fun.

Full of drunken uncouth teenagers who believe it acceptable to be loud, rude, disgusting and outragiously stupid!

Loud and rowdy - not for me ! There are far better places very near by. If you just want to get drunk then it may be for you!

wow, this place is so nice and friendly! We went on a pub crawl with escapades and this was the first place we went too and we loved it! Maria is sooooooo nice and friendly!
