Like many old churches in Bavaria, this one was beautiful, open and inviting. Also, very popular among tourists. The art was wonderful.

Normally the church is closed on mondays, but on our prior request a nun had openednthe church for us. Built with 600,000 construction stones and offers space to 1,500 people. The people's altar is made in marble and sandstone, the high altar (Mettler) was remodled in 1922 in wood that is marbled. These murals represent the exaltation of the Holy Trinity from the Bible and church history. In the middle of the high altar above the Tabernacle he painted a large altarpiece depicting Jesus on the cross (based on the painting by Peter Paul Rubens), the feet of Jesus are surrounded by a gold Pelican that sits on the gold-plated canopy of the Tabernacle, is in the religious mythology a symbol for Jesus. In1925 the painting had to be stopped due to of a shortage of resources (presumably the nescesary funds). In preparation for the renovation in 1960 many images in the choir, as well as on the side walls were painted over, as well as the way of the cross painted by the pastor was replaced by the current way of the cross. Inspite of this, it still offers visitors of the Church an imposing and impressive view, not just to look at, but it invites to meditate on the mysteries of our salvation by the Trinity God (the Father, the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit).
