Just a few minutes of Heilbronn was Weinsberg. On top of a hill, surrounded by vineyards Weinsberg castle ruins. Entry consists of only 2 euros, a modest price for what you get. A gorgeous panorama of 360 degrees. The only complaint would be the lack of descriptions in English or another international language. However, it is a great place for you pentrece a sunny afternoon. I highly recommend!

I grew up in the heilbronn / Weinberg area and this is really a neat place to visit! The winds are howling through the dungeons and one can just imagine how it might have been at one time. The story about the wives carrying off their husband is a great tale, strange but true!
