schwaebische-waldbahn

This 100 year old railway has both steam and diesel days. It runs the 23km From Welzheim through Rudersberg to Schorndorf, and can be reached by train from Stuttgart. It's a scenic line with many places of interest along the way.Open most Sundays and Thursdays May to November. Details are on the website http://www.schwaebische-waldbahn.de - in German but easy to follow. A must for enthusiasts but a good family visit if in the area.

Die Strecke mit der Dampfbahn wird ab Rudersberg so richtig interessant. Wir sind die Strecke einfach gefahren und mit dem Rad zurück (geht schön den Berg hinunter). Ein Abenteuer für jung und alt.
