Unexpectedly the food was extraordinary! The linguine with Prawns I had was one of the best meals I have ever had. Authentic, pure, fresh, simple ingredients put together perfectly. They helped me pair it with a refreshing local white wine and it was a magnificent match!Love this place, its unassuming, fun, great for all ages, and if you are up for a killer beach party at night after some kite surfing and dining, your in for a real treat. Such beautiful weather in Gizzeria, perfect for kitesurfing and beach time! Great staff as well. I met the owner and he's really great and down to earth. The beach has an absolutely fantastic restaurant specializing in seafood. The food is heavenly. I've added some pictures for reference! ;) Go see it!!! At least stay a day.

This place was suggested by a friend who lives in Hawaii and is an avid kite surfer. I don't surf but he said the place is awesome.We missed the turnoff and wound up at the beach about a mile away. I looked up and saw probably 50 kites in the air down the beach and thought "that's it"!When we got there (with wife and daughter) the intention was to spend the day. We stayed almost a week!! The food was mostly fish based and very fresh. The service was friendly and helpful. They even found us a great hotel close by.On Friday we were told there was a dance....we went back around 11pm and danced until 4:30 am!! Awesome!!! I hadn't danced with my family so much in a very long time! Thank you all at hang loose beach.

Awesome place with a friendly and helpful staff that greeted us, making us feel part of the family. The restaurant is superb with fresh fish, delectable food and fantastic chefs. The kite & windsurfing side of the beach, is outstanding spot and fun. Hang Loose is an outside Oasis with lots of music and drinks while surrounded by a beautiful sea! Thank you Carmelo for a wonderful time. Definitely our favorite spot in Calabria.

Went there at the recommendation of friends and did not disappoint! Hands down the best meal we had in Calabria (and we have some memorable ones!). Fresh, authentic, tasty, wow....we dream of it now. Clean facilities, Beach is a little rocky, but crystal clear blue waters. Rocks are rounded though so not an issue, even for my two year old. We did not kite surf, just 'hung loose' and enjoyed the beach. Perfect day there.

What can I say? It has a little bit of everything!! Beach Club, Restaurant & Cocktail Bar with the best happy hour in town! And that's only one side. You also have kite surfing & wind surfing with Beach manager, Luca that can show you a thing or two about surfing! There's even a camper ground services & accommodations! The food is fantastic & the restaurant manager, Carmelo is a very cool cat & a spectacular chef! Can't get enough of this place! It's always one of our stops when we are visiting Calabria.

The guys here go to great lengths to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. We paid just 15 Euro each to use the beach and facilities for the whole week, and really liked it. There's lots of space downwind if you want to get out of the way, but the water is deep almost as soon as you get in. Almost no chop. Wind was a bit sketchy as it wasn't as hot as it would normally be this time of year, which meant the thermals didn't really pick up till 5pm most days, and only the flysurfers were out before then. Recommend light wind kites (12m+). The restaurant was lovely and did great pizzas and pasta dishes with fresh seafood. Not much choice of desserts though.

The Lido is one of the main attraction in the area. The lido is quite well designed.Highly recommended

An astonishingly welcoming and incredibly friendly beach /kitesurf resort in Calabria. Great sports facilities, superb restaurant, locally caught seafood a speciality, beachside bars that can compare with any others, anywhere in the world! Add the breathtaking Calabrian coastline and music that makes you want to jump up and dance - and that is Hang Loose Beach! Our campervan and two bouncy springer spaniels could not have been made more welcome!

Un posto molto carino, personale cordiale e centinaia di appassionati di kite surf. Tutta la zona è frequentata da appassionati di questo sport, ci sono serate musicali interessanti e si incontra belle gente. Da visitare.

Location fantastica..personale simpatico cordiale e preparato..dove ci si può rilassare o fare festa e ballare verso il tramonto..con l' happy sunset. Si mangia bene con prezzi contenuti..si conoscono persone che arrivano dai posti più disparati e si socializza e ci si diverte nelle serate con musica dal vivo o si balla all' aperto, praticamente sulla spiaggia, dove si era sdraiati fino al pomeriggio... Chi vuole puo' fare gli sport di punta dell' Hlb, come il kite surf,wind surf ecc.Si parte per andare in posti lontani...e non si sa che esiste l' Hangloosebeach in Italia....Grazie a tutto lo staff

é un luogo dove riposare i sensi , conoscere persone con le origini più disparate nel mondo dove l'interesse comune é lo sport, la passione per il mare , la convivialità e il rapporto con la natura, ho passato un mese in questo posto e li c'é ancora, dopo un anno di tempo, un pezzo del mio cuore, le persone che ho incontrato sono entrate a far parte della mia vita e ringrazio ogni giorno la magica esperienza che ho potuto vivere in questo piccolo mondo fatto di persone vere ed autentiche, dai proprietari, agli istruttori, ai baristi, ristoratori, lo chef e tutti coloro che si son trovati a passare nel periodo della mia permanenza, grazie di cuore a tutti!

Struttura molto grande e ben organizzata in riva al mare, dove quest'anno ci siamo fermati a mangiare ben 2 volte. Il ristorante offre una buona scelta di piatti particolarmente sfiziosi e più che altro a base di pesce. La presentazione e le porzioni sono molto buone e la qualità del cibo non tradisce le aspettative. Consiglio il Salmone ripieno perchè è proprio spettacolare!! Anche le pizze sono gustose e ben fatte, nonostante la lista non preveda tantissima scelta. Il personale è gentile e amichevole (a volte anche troppo...il cameriere addetto alle ordinazioni esagera un po' nel consigliare i piatti che vuole lui e pare a tratti insistente), il prezzo è molto buono e l'ambiente è giovanile ma nello stesso tempo elegante.Una scoperta molto gradita, lo consiglio a tutti!

Istruttori di kite professionali,allegri,seri e preparati.Ottimo cibo, personale cordiale e disponibile.L'aperivito sulla spiaggia è sempre una meravigliosa sorpresa per la presenza di tantissima gente e di bella musica...il divertimento è assicurato.Le feste infrasettimanali sono sempre una sensazionale riuscita...La pecca???che è aperto solo d'estate!!!!!Grande HLB.
