It's a nice place to walk, see the trees and to walk along the river. You can see the Palace and the medieval village.
This is a delightful park down by the river with a nineteenth century reconstruction of a Piedmontese mediaeval village in the middle. A nice foil to the rest of the city and lovely down by the river. When we went there were lots of fours etc. out on the river having races. Quite like the Thames!
You can see many people there, couples, families, and tourists. That's a great place for relax. You would like there, just visit that awesome place!
Felt like a smaller version of Central Park in New York, Enjoyed my trip to Turin in general but the walk through this park and then along the river was one of the highlights a lovely place to relax.
If you have a time, outside is the nice weather and you love to walk, this place is worth a visit. The palace is located in the park, and its quite beautiful. Now there is an Archaeological University inside the Palace. Thats why, you can enjoy the beauty of palace only outside.
Worthwhile if you have the time. It is lovely, a very pretty and scenic park and we enjoyed the whimsical sculptures here, especially the street lanterns sitting on a park bench.
we went to the park by boat. There are good restaurants and the surrounding is good. You can see a lot in the parc.
I just loved walking through this park! The rock garden with the street lamp sculptures was my favorite but I honestly loved it all. Very pretty and great people watching. We stayed in a B&B very close to the park and walked over there multiple times. If you like Central Park in NYC you'll like this too.
Near the medieval village, which as we all know is a 19c reproduction, it's a lovely park, full of squirrels and birds. Great place to jog or walk, or take a boat ride
No noise, very natural and a good escape from the city. A long walk will certainly make you happy. Nice place for sports like walking, jogging, biking a well.
We are living here for a couple of months so I thought I'd take a walk a few blocks over to check out the park. I didn't even get over to the buildings. This was 4 in the afternoon and I felt very unsafe because of all the hoodlum-looking guys hanging out all over the park in groups. Not to mention the ever present Torino graffiti! So carrying a camera, cell phone and a purse, I decided to leave. Too bad. Pretty park but really didn't feel safe at all.
The boat trip from here is a 45 minutes scheduled trip. 10 minutes in the queue to get a ticket and get on. 5 minutes trip up 500 yards then 25 minutes while the one way people get off and on then a 5 minute trip 500 yards back down. The locals all enjoyed it immensely but it is the biggest rip off I have come across on my travels.
Beautiful, huge park along the river with many beautiful flowers & trees. Large rose garden, a Japanese style garden, waterfalls, bridges, and ponds. Also a medieval village built in 1884 for the Italian general expo to look exactly like a medieval village. Definitely worth a visit!!
It is indeed a jam in town, fantastic for a run and perfect for a walk with children. It is just a pity that sometime rats cross the road...
I found this park underwhelming, but maybe I visited in the wrong season. After an extremely hot summer, everything looked dry and yellow. I didn't really see much of the park, but the initial impression didn't prompt me to explore more.
