This beach is beautiful and the water was crystal clear and warm (in August). If I were to only rate the view and water I would give it five stars. However, it is difficult to walk on the stones. Getting to and from the water can be a bit treacherous and painful on bare feet. Wear shoes that you can get wet and can take into the water. Sandals or flip-flops are not sturdy enough to walk safely over the stones. Sunbathing on the rocky beach is very uncomfortable! You can rent an air mattress to float on the water, and many people use them on the beach to lay on while sunbathing.

This was only one of few opportunities to have a swim at the beautiful island of Salina.It has really big boulders on the beach and smaller ones towards the sea itself.At high waves you can hear them rolling moved by the strong current.This current together with the wind can be dangerous when children get on the huge inflatable matresses into the sea, and lose the mattress while swimming in the open sea.It gets very difficult then to pull yourself on the mattress again in the strong waves and currents.So be warned, i almost had to rescue small children who lost the mattress which was fast blown away by tyhe strong currents and winds that day.they hire them on the beach for 3 euro a piece, and come immediately towards you to give the impression you are obliged to hire one..They are quit handy when you prefer sunbathing on the rocks which is rather uncomfortable...In summer this nice small beach with clear water gets easily crowded.There is no shadow...

Great stone beach with easy access to the water supported by an excellent basic small family run cafe. The food sticks to basics but is high quality summer salads on the beach. Highly recommended - also great rental mattresses and umbrellas. This isn't Ibiza, but it is top drawer for Salina. Special thanks to Simone and his team.

the Aeolian islands have few nice easy beaches reachable on foot . this is one of the few, but there are just stones and very little facilities . the water is amazing, and the view from the top exquisite

I rented a scooter and toured the island stopping at this beach for the day. The water is clean and clear. It was a great spot for snorkeling. I had lunch at the snack bar and was very happy with it. It is really a unique and beautiful beach.

Went down to this rocky beach several times to swim and snorkel. The staff of the Maracaibo snack bar on this tiny inlet were extremely helpful in setting up umbrellas and carrying down the air mattresses to the shore. The food and beverages are tasty and decently priced for this remote location.

The first time we went there it was already sunset and the beach was empty. It was so gorgeous we didn't know what to do with ourselves. The path to get to the beach winds around the side of a hill and you don't know what to expect until you round the last corner and are faced with a little bit of paradise. The sound of the water on the stones is something I will never forget. The second time we went, it was earlier, but still late in the day so the beach wasn't crowded at all. The water was perfect, super clean and clear. We simply didn't want to leave.

The place is beatiful and magic, but it's also to difficult to reach it, too crowded and too stony. The way to arrive at the sea could be nice, but when you're there, you risk your ankles on huge stones ... and it's really uncomfortable!

clear water, good temperature, small beach bar to have a drink, stone beach which I dont like but its like that all over Salina. some jelly fish its not that pleasant and water wasnt 100% clean.its ok to go there a couple of hours and swim. they rent you inflatable mattreses which is a good idea to lie on the beach or use while swimming. relax place

Abbiamo visitato questa spiaggia di sassi accoglienti un paio di volte durante il ns. Soggiorno a Salina. Acqua dai colri meravigliosi in profondità blu coballto. l'accesso è libero ma è attrezzata con materassi gonfiabilli. esiste una piccola terrazza attrezzata per spuntini bevande e gelati. Gestita da un giovane gentilissimo che ci ha ospitati nel bel mezzo delll'anomalo tamoorale nel piccolo magazzino salvandoci dai fulmini. Posto indimenticabile, stare stesi sui sassi giganti e caldi è piacevolissimo.Andateci!

Ein kleiner Strand am Rand der Steilküste. Im Oktober, bei Sonne, wunderschön.Im Sommer vermutlich überlaufen, da auf der Insel nur wenige Strände vorhanden sind.

bella spiaggia con unc hiringuito comodo. E' di pietre rotonde non troppo scomode e il chiringuito affitta materassini e sdraie.

Bellissimo luogo e incantevole mare. Francesco,il proprietario del chiosco,è stato con noi e il nostro bouledogue Stitch, gentile e attento. La nostra è ormai una migrazione che si ripete, la promessa del ritorno per l'estate 2015. Non è poi così lontano.

Favolosa piccola spiaggia a cui si accede con scalinata super panoramica. E poi piacevole sorpresa un baretto ottimamente gestito da Francesco. Noi abbiamo trovato una giusta quantità di persone, abbiamo pranzato, fatto il bagno e volendo potevamo prendere a nolo un comodo materassino. Insomma quanto basta per sentirsi in paradiso.

Bella e tenuta vene I ragazzi del chiosco gentilissimi e disponibili con un menu semplice ma con ottimi e saporiti ingredienti
