this is such a lovely place for a stay wether in summer or wintertime! i was here in january because of the whales and the whole crew and members of valhall were so helpful and nice! it`s very familiar there and is definetly a place to revisit again!

visited Valhal, for a while i thought i was dreaming, every next hour was a dream coming true, program was changing from kayaking, walking on the beautiful beaches, to whale watching from a rib on 2 meter distance. Beautiful creatures like orcas and humpbacks said hello it the most beautifull way i could ever imagine. And for the sugar ending, evening walks, under the polar lights ( aurora B. ) was incredible, i am still living that dream but far away and that guy who works there, andelko is like an angel. He was very helpfull showing us The whales and giving the best tips.. He is definitely the guy who makes our trip perfect. Coming back ASAP. Thank you for everything !

An amazing time was had snorkelling with whales and the scenery is just stunning. Can't wait to go back and see the aurora next time!

Krøttoy island is an open portal to incredible world of most secret dreams. Few days here, my life changed from a boring rutine to a new perspective over the nature, and the wild life. Lots of things you can do here, from a child to an old man, you will find youself and you will lose any idea of a bornig rutine which encircles most of the world today unfortunately. Perfectly clear ocean and shallow water around the archipelago gives you the perfect wiew over the seals and the ocean life while you take the nice trip kayaking ! Whole island is nice to take a walk, camp, have an lovely day on the one of thousands sand beaches. What gives the most thrilling excitement, is WHALE SAFARI ! In a few hours on the rib, you will lose yourself for sure... just imagine to be in one meter from a beautiful orca's, humpback, fin whale, creatures from 5 to 90 tones passing by, saying hello to you, and imagine just to snorkle with them, it is a life change moment ! In the top of that we had an amaaaaazing evening walks, under the burning skies from the polar lights, aurora borealis. It is something that is carved deep into my heart now, and will never to be forgotten ! Thank you Valhall !

Valhall is the perfect place to stay if you want to experience the magic of the Arctic, enjoy the northern lights and snorkel with humpback whales and orcas together. Ellen and Einar were very kind and helpful. They took great care of us and made us feel at home. Ich war im Sommer 2011 auf Valhall. Es war einfach ein wunderschöner Urlaub. Dort kann man wirklich die Seele baumeln lassen und die Einsamkeit genießen. Die Besitzer sind wunderbare Menschen und sehr bemüht alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Das Hotel lässt keine Wünsche offen und die Verpflegung ist spitze. Werde jedenfalls wieder kommen.
