close to the city and all. The park itself is free. if you want to go on any attractions you have to pay. I just strolled around and had some food and some beers at many different places inside.
This place could make for a good day trip as well as a place to spend a couple of hours: apart from the amazing views, there are all sorts of attractions (most closed in the winter), a good meat restaurant, a nice bakery and a fine park worth to take a walk in. Stalls food is expensive, but you can bring your own food if you plan on a picnic. Take a funicular to go up and enjoy the views as you walk down.
Come in the summer time to enjoy great views and attractions for people of all ages. During the winter the place is pretty much shut down, but it is still a nice place to overlook the city.
The fun part about this place is the satan circular thing! Don't know the exact name! However, in order to get here, you need to have a card, and you can purchase it in the little store, make sure you go there before 7pm other vise so many people, and then you hardly can get in there, and before it gets to 9pm they stopping it! So, it is fun place to visit, but I would not put much efforts if I would be you!
great views, nice restaurant on the top of the funicular (be aware of long waiting times). Like all amusements parks: looks creepy unless lots of people are visiting it. Funicular may be croweded during peak hours.
Well organized, not expensive, and in general worth to go with kids.Panoramic big wheel offers excellent views to all city areas.
Pluses: the view is absolutely amazing, and (!) in summer there's 2-3 degrees lower than in the city - so you can spend your day there if you're hot. Besides, there's enough to do there for a day trip: from roller coaster to the multi-level restaurant. We spent our time with great pleasure there. And take the funicular to get there - it's fun and doesn't cost much (2 GEL/person + travel card for 2GEL for all).Minuses: snacks and ice cream are expensive (but you could take your own with you there) and it's desolate in winter.
This amusement park is located in the best possible area, the top of Mtatsminda. But, unfortunately, it is one of the saddest places to visit in Tbilisi. We were waiting for the opening for this park for years. But what we have now: even if it was opened few years ago it looks old and as it needs renovation. For instance, the most scary moment of roller-coaster was the thought that it is too old and not safe ( maybe it is is safe, but that's was our feeling). Part of attractions were closed, video games center was sending us back to old games of 90th. Unfortunately, there is no big choice of places to visit in Tbilisi. And this is the place you have to visit if you have a child.
I wasn't expecting much of this theme park, but I found that the rollercoaster was quite a thrill, and the ferris wheel provided nice city views. Perfect for kids of all ages ;)
The park itself isn't amazing, it's pretty tired and could do with some work. It's good value however, and gives you a good view of the city. We went on the Ferris wheel which was two Lari each (plus another two Lari for the payment card) which gives the best views available of the city. It's possible to walk from the park to the mother of Georgia statue if you want to see the city from the other side.
Its a little creepy. Everything costs a swipe of credit , even just sitting in the kids' sandbox area. It's badly planned and the workers are not helpful. It's also desolate and empty most of the time...
. Quite unbelievable, I don't think I've ever seen such a 'tacky' place. Wonderful views though. WCs are the squatting variety....
Everyone can find something to enjoy at this beautiful park with a great view. Kids of all ages will enjoy the rides, and the view from the giant wheel is spectacular. Handicapped persons will have a difficult time since there are a lot of steps, but can still enjoy the view from the terrace at the restaurant.
The best about the amusement park is the Funicular that gets you there - short, but entertaining ride! When I was there the weather was not good so I bet in plain sunshine the views must be spectacular. I would have wanted to climb the radio tower but unfortunately you can't. The caroussels have extra fares.
OK, first off, I really enjoyed the park. Great rides, wonderful for kids. Very safe, very clean. Not much for very little kids to do, but fun to just walk around in a kid friendly environment. We actually went on two different occasions. The one thing I want to say is we almost died in this ferris wheel! It was about 95 degrees outside and we got into the little ball with 5 people. Well, I immediately realized the fan wasn't working, but thought it would start working. Well, it didn't. We were trapped for 15 minutes, dripping sweat, in this little mobile sauna. I would not go on this ferris wheel again and if I did, make sure your fan is working! So even though I feel like we almost died, I still give the park a very good. Which I suppose is an indication that it really is a great park. I would definitely recommend this for parents of small children, even if they're still too small for the rides. Most rides start at 90cm height...
