This free attraction is well worth a visit, new Saints added every year, you have to see them to believe them! They are great. Difficult for people with mobility problems. The view from the top is stunning on a fine day. The birds and flowers are wonderful too. Just a short walk down to a pretty chapel.

Our interpretation of the standing stones in Brittany is that they were just waiting for the craftsmen from here to turn up and carve. Luckily for us, large chunks of granite have now walked here from all over Brittany to be converted into works of art.We first discovered this place on a very foggy day, with no knowledge of its existance, as we were visiting a nearby chapel. The large figures marching around the hill fort were a startling surprise, and we have since returned many times to enjoy the ever expanding variety of work. I believe there are over 600 saints to depict, but it will be a long time before the project is complete.

If you love wild flowers; artistry in granite; the sound of skylarks singing, then this fascinating site may be of interest. I have visited several times, and creature comforts are now available on site (WCs). Whether it is to see the next batch of statues being noisily bashed into shape, or those already erected on the site of this hill fort, I hope the sun shines to see the views from the hill and the intricate work of the artists - which is truly amazing considering how hard this stone is to work. If you go anywhere in Brittany, go here! This is the most inspirational, uplifting experience! On the site of a roman hill top fort, set in stunning countryside, huge sculptures, each fascinating and absorbing. This feels like a contemporary stone henge, ambitious, huge scale and awesome. You can wander freely on this hill top and take in all the statues, each very different, spend as little or as much time as you want.When you feel that you have experienced all you can...... there is more! Real live artists and sculptors actually working on vast blocks of granite. To see how these images emerge from a featureless rock face is really interesting, work in progress. There are many more sculptures planned so this attraction will become more and more intriguing. I can't wait to visit again when we re-visit our Brittany cottage at the end of the year!

While on Holiday, just south of Morlaix, we were recommended to go and see these sculptures. Amazing, and stunning scenery. Free entry. And work in progress. I would happily go again, and again in the future.

This is the most unique and awesome project. A must-go-to for any tourist. Superb sculpture, stunning site and a wonderful vision for the future. A recent concept and very much a work in progress with facilities improving all the time. Parking, easy access although on a hill so some effort required, very open air and very unspoiled. Take a camera and be prepared to be impressed.

à Carnoet, lieu ou il n'y a pas grand chose à visiter, si ce n'est s'imprégner de la nature bretonne. Une décision du politique a décidé d'utiliser une colline, surmontée d'une motte féodale, pour y installer un ensemble de statues qui racontent les légendes des "Saints" bretons . Si ceux-ci ont bien effectué des miracles extraordinaires , l'église catholique ne leur attribue pas toujours la sainteté . Comme quoi cette église est un peu étroite d'esprit , car offrir un troisième seins à Gwenn qui a enfanté trois saints , c'est quand même un miracle très sympa non? Le lieu est grandiose et mérite le détour .

Certains avis sont très mauvais très injustes et non fondés!Ces statues du 21eme siècle, admirables oeuvres insolites et splendides nous transportent dans le passé pour nous projeter dans le futur de l'univers... Indestructibles elles traverseront les siècles témoignant du passage d'autres hommes sur notre planète! Bernard de Bordeaux

Une cinquantaine de statues mesurant 3 à 4 m en pleine nature cela surprend .Magnifique panorama. Un conseil acheter le livret à 7 € qui contient le plan et les photos avec explications des statues.Entrée gratuite donc parking trop petit et pas pratique,pas de sanitaires,boutique dans un bungalow.Un conseil a visiter en juin ou septembre car c'est pendant ces deux mois que les sculpteurs travaillent et c'est assez impressionnant .

Si pendant la visite on fait abstraction des autres visiteurs, avec le paysage magnifique qui entoure le site, on a l'impression de marcher dans un paysage irréel. Il y a quelque chose de magique et mystique dans l'allure de ces statues bien souvent géantes dont on a l'impression qu'elles vont se mettre en marche. Le travail gigantesque et époustouflant des sculpteurs est à souligner. Le seul mot qui vient à la bouche est grandiose. Cela vaut le déplacement.On ne peut que s'extasier devant ce spectacle ...gratuit de surcroit. Pour les râleurs, les aménagements viendront quand le site sera payant..comme partout ailleurs. Bravo, bravo et encore bravo pour cette idée d'artiste un peu fou.

Nous y avons passé un excellent après midi avec un magnifique panorama , de plus il faisait beau. Nous attendons avec impatience que de nouvelles statues y soient mises en place pour y retourner .

Historiquement parlant le site ne présente aucun intérêt, les statues viennent d'être taillées ou sont en cours de l'être.Elles sont grandes mais le terme de géantes est abusif.Elles représentent des saints.Les lieux ne sont pas aménagés, les parkings sont des cours de fermes (boue lorsqu'il pleut et poussière par temps sec).Rapidement saturés avec 3/4 camping cars ou 1/2 cars de tours opérateurs qui ajoutent cette visite à leurs programmes car gratuite !Seule la vue d'ensemble avec la campagne environnante vaut le coup d'œil.A noter à proximité la petite chapelle de saint-Gildas du 15ème intéressante à visiter.

Magnifique projet, magnifique réalisation et magnifique endroit. Il faut absolument faire ce détour proche de Carhaix et découvrir ces sculptures monumentales au rythme de votre inspiration.Facile d'accés, dans un paysage grandiose, on ne peut que féliciter les auteurs de ce projet complètement étonnant. En plus la visite est gratuite.
