来到Colmar就一定要去小威尼斯区,这里可说是这座小镇的精华地带!色彩缤纷的排屋搭上小运河,简直是美呆了!而且人人都可以拍出跟明信片一样的照片喔!
This part of Colmar is so charming and you can not leave Colmar without strolling through Little Venice. You will really get an appreciation of the regions unique style in this village.
What a wonderful place. The architecture is beautiful. Walking around this area is very romantic. We could walk around this area for hours.
Very romantic to walk around in all seasons. In December you can listen to the famous boys choir La Maitrise de Garçons de Colmar singing Christmas songs on boats.
We spent three days in Colmar when we only expected to spend the night. Colmar is very romantic and charming. This area of Colmar is wonderful
Very little. Not Venice. Still, the Old town has a very nice atmosphere, without this pompous label.
Old town in Colmar is beautiful to walk around, full of flowers, many cafés and restaurants, and the canals are lovely to stroll. The entirety of Olde Town is small enough to walk easily and the ambiance of Colmar is so lovely that just walking through the streets makes you smile. We had a delicious dinner on one of the canals, and there are many restaurants to choose from to enjoy such an experience. Don't miss this one!
I know a lot of reviewers say how underwhelmed they are with Petite Venice... but if you see the city for itself, rather than compare it to other places, you will see the uniqueness and quaintness of this section. The canal is cool and the streets surrounding it are full of good restaurants and shops. Explore each path and you will find unique and quiet places in this darling little area. Enjoy!
Colmar is with its little venice so charming. The houses in the Alsace region is adding to this atmosphere. Summer, Fall, Winter (perhaps spring too, but haven't been there) any time you fall in love
It's wonderful in the evening. defiantly worth visit if you are around. lots of restaurants around the easy to walk
We were visiting Strasbourg for Christmas Markets and did this as a day trip out. Little Venice is charming, but essentially the same as Petite France in Strasbourg, just a few more canals. The markets and decor are not nearly as extensive as in Strasbourg, and consequently, basic tourist needs (like directional signs and easy to find restrooms) are not dealt with well. Next time, I'd give this a miss and stick to Strasbourg for the markets.
Having been to Venice, and Bruge "Venice of the North" it has few similarities apart from water! However, the store fronts are beautiful, and the streets are lovely to walk around.
Our family of 7, including 3 children, thoroughly enjoyed the entire day visiting the many markets on Colmar. From riding the 'horses,' merry-go-round, ferris wheel, and watching the ice skaters, to eating and drinking at the various shops, the day was quite enjoyable. We stayed at the Brisol, which is a bit of a walk, because all the other hotels were booked. So, if you're planning to visit during Christmas market season, book your hotel early !
The scale and character are incredible. In this trip we concentrated on cities with canals in mid Europe. It is impossible not to try to compare between Colmar, Strastburg, Amsterdam and Brugge. They all have different charms. But the small intimate scale of this area of Colmar, while not like the real Venice, it is quite beautiful and special.
I know there are lot's of Chocolate Box towns in Europe and of course other parts of the world but I fell in love with Colmar, unfortunately I was only there for 5 hours but did get to explore "Little Venice" and "the Old Town" quite well. If I had a complaint it would be that it was a freezing day and hopefully one day I might get back to Colmar and spend a couple of days there just enjoying such a beautiful town.
