克拉科夫历史中心

克拉科夫位于波兰南部，从布拉格坐夜火车能直达。波兰的建筑和文化有着独特的气息，克拉科夫诞生过很多艺术家。市中心有著名的教堂，包括历任国王和前总统都安葬此处。老城墙遗址也保存的相当好。

克拉科夫已经是第四次来，除了第一次是自己来外，之后每次都是陪朋友或同事！所谓历史中心其实就是老城，这里有欧洲最大的中世纪广场，周围有很多教堂和历史建筑！旁边是瓦唯尔城堡和犹太……整个连为一体，很大也很精致，非常耐逛……像这面墙就是连接老城和犹太区入口的涂鸦，非常喜欢…！

这个边长为133米的正方形广场是欧洲最大的广场。广场矗立着雄伟的圣玛利大教堂，每逢正点在顶端的钟楼传来号声。市民会馆，纺织会馆，历史博物馆

这里曾经是波兰的首都。很袖珍的城市，但是很独特，既有历史感浓厚的老城，又有苏联时期遗留下的大批建筑，以及后来建设的新城。很有意思，仿佛昨日和今日互相重合而又泾渭分明。只是交通不便，和欧洲大城市大多没有直航。除了慕尼黑和法兰克福过来稍微方便一点。

We were amazed at the beauty of the town square. You would be pushed to find anywhere in Europe as impressive I think

A fabulous location steeped in history. This medieval square is absolutely charming. Surrounded by palaces, churches, galleries and museums there is much to experience and learn. There are a variety of shops, bars and restaurants to suit everyone's taste and pocket. The bugler still sounds his trumpet from the highest tower of St Mary's Church every hour on the hour wich adds to the nostalgia of the setting. Truly romantic place to be.

We wandered around here first on a quiet Thursday afternoon then on a very busy Sunday. Lots to do and see. Shops were interesting but also a lot of chain stores.. Loved just wandering around. Lots of choices of places to eat. Saw no beggars but lots of street entertainers. One bargain I spotted was sheep skin rugs for about £20, just wish I had room in my suitcase for some, next time perhaps.

There are many many things to see and visit around the old town including the Jewish quarter, WW2 ghetto, old town square, old city walls, magnificent ancient churches and all in walking distance. The old architecture id beautiful.

Oh well its in the city center so if you didn't been here while in kraków then you really didn't been in kraków

Centre of Kraków is beautiful with lots of little restaurants and cafes. Also pretty shops to wander through. Underground museum also in the centre and Wawel Castle within walking distance.

Krakow turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip. Didn't really expect much but when you see the Historic Centre, wonderful at daylight and nightlight you fall in love. Always full of people, full of history, II World War survivor. Incredible!

As Title. You will always be in or around here no matter what but it different atmosphere at night . We went to a jazz club in the main square and came out about 11 where you noticed a change.However when you go back to side streets it was easier. There you were back to normal. Strange!

Very beautiful lots of places to eat, can be very busy, but over all a great place to visit. Try the shooting range via krakow tours great fun

Very impressed in general with this city, it offers everything for everyone, we walked pretty much everywhere and there are a lot of refurbishment programmes in place but by all means... See if for yourself... It's beautiful :)

We had a beer in Krakows oldest pub, a horse and carriage trip around the square and a walk to the jewish quarter all easily done in one day. Beautiful buildings and architecture in the old town which is undergoing a refurbishment programme.
