we visited and it was a really rainy day off and on. it was a 15 minute walk to the falls, and we were the only ones there and we saw some sheep and some nice flowers. you can have picnics here. there's a picnic and a B&B and small shop so you can probably have tea. Lady was very friendly.
Considering It's Privately Funded: If your in this neck of the woods then stop off and take a look, considering the funding nature of this place, then the people who look after it have done a superb job.Very nice spot for a walk and a pic-nic, great little ice cream parlour at the bottom carpark as well.
A really lovely walk to the waterfall at any time of the year. I would highly recommend a visit here if you are in the area.
There is a beautiful walk to the waterfall. The sheep across the waterfall have a good look. Its like a little bit of heaven. Waterfall is not the biggest I have seen but would definitely recommend a visit. The walk made it. There is a coffee shop and great parking. we did not go into the coffee shop
What a wonderful way to spend a lovely Fall afternoon. We recently visited Ireland and stopped by accident, seeing the sign by the road. Amazing scenery and privacy. Worth the walk to see!
I would not go out of my way to go to Glenevin waterfall again. It was nice but that's all. As dogs are not allowed up the path had to leave pooch in car so rushed up and back so she wouldn't overheat. The waterfall is not that easy to see and not as exciting as it looks in pictures.
A short easy walk, nice path, pretty wooded setting and at the end, a beautiful waterfall! And, the ice cream shop or tea and a treat from the cafe are a perfect ending! We sat outside on a perfect day and loved it!
Lovely place to visit, nice 1 km walk through the woods. Worth a visit but I was a little disappointed with the height of the waterfall but having said that I would have been sorry to have missed it. Nice tea rooms at the start of the walk. The owner is very pleasant to talk to.We had two nice bowls of soup and brown bread for 8 euro. I would like to add that the path is not suitable for a wheelchair.
Easy to get to, lovely tea room nearby, easy free parking, toilets handy, Donation box instead of charges, lovely walk. All it needs now is a golf course!
Approx 1km walk from car park to the waterfall along a very nice stream very quiet and tranquill with nice path and picnic areas and nice tearoom when you return to car park.Well worth a visit.
The 1k walk to the waterfall is very easy along a well maintained and fairly level path. There are plenty of places to sit along the way as well as a picnic area. This would be a good place to have wedding photos taken or bring someone with limited mobility as the paths are easy to walk and are suitable for wheelchairs.
It seemed like a lot longer than the one kilometer that the sign said but it was well worth it . We meandered alongside the babbling stream with many small bridges and shelters along the way . It made the walk all the more interesting . There is a tea room and toilets at the start of the walk and they are spotlessly clean and well maintained . The path for the walk is well maintained and I couldn't recommend the walk highly enough
A short, but very enjoyable, walk up to the beautiful waterfall. Good paths all the way so suitable for buggies / wheelchairs etc. The valley is quite beautiful and the waterfall itself was quite impressive when we were there. Tea room was nice but service was a little slow.
took a walk up to see waterful, well kept walk way, lovely stream whole way up by walk very soothing. Sheep also grazing on walkway on way to waterfall. Once back from waterfall lovely shop sells souvenirs and ic cream.
If your have the chance to experience the Wild Atlantic Way don't miss the Glenevin Waterfall its a must see. Get your swimsuit on and jump in for a swim under this beautiful waterfall.
