millest moose farm

We decided to go on the last Daily tour of the year, and were really pleasantly surprised! Upon arrival we tried some moose juice (good stuff!), and after an interesting explanation walked to the moose. Feeding them and just watching them was really an experience we will never forget! So defenitely worth your time! Thank you!

If you havent seen a Moose at close range i realy recomend a visitt. Price is low and the guide is friendly. You can get very close and touch the moose, and if new to the moose it gives you a new perspective on them. There is a similar farm in Østersund and i liked my vissit there better, but cant pinpoint why.

Very inspirational to meet the King of the forest, especially after guide Mats told us everything about this creature. The way small children react to the mooses is so impressive. Perfect in combination with the Tännforsen waterfall.

Take warm clothes, book a taxi for your return in advance. Good setup -the owners are nice and will teach you well about the natural habitat of the Moose. You get a chance to get up close & personal (maybe closer than you'd like) with very large animals.

Visited the moose farm whilst in Are. The guide was very knowledgeable, truly cared for his animals, lots of interesting facts. Our family (teenager and 9 year old) were amazed at the size of the moose, they were able to touch and feed the moose whilst in the compound. Would recommend this to anyone visiting the area. Traditional family friendly cafe area. B&B available at this farm too.

Loved the interaction we got with the moose (feeding them potatoes in order to kiss them) and the guide provided loads of interesting information on the animals that we did not know before. Definitely an experience not to be missed!

Yes of course this is a tourist attraction, but quite nice to get up close to a moose. what a beautiful animal it is and so gentle. We loved the experience and the information.

We stopped in for a quick fika and was pleasantly surprised. The little food area was adorable and the snacks we had were well presented and tasty. Stop by when you are in the area.

Een leuk begin van het nieuwe jaar: met de kleinkinderen op een prachtige dag, een bezoek aan de elandenboerderij. Leerzame uitleg, knusse entourage. De kinderen mogen zelf de elanden voeren, en na duidelijke instructies, binnen de omheining de elanden "knuffelen".Na afloop de lekkerste wafels gegeten, bereid met elandenmelk, en voorzien van heerlijke bessencompote!

Nog geen eland gespot gedurende onze tocht van Stockholm naar Trondheim, dus dan is een bezoek aan Millest Moose farm de oplossing. Je krijgt hele leuke info over de eland, en je komt bij ze in het hok, waar je ze mag voeren, aaien, en knuffelen. Aanrader met kinderen.

Често говоря, в Дюведе кроме этой фермы и соседнего водопада смотреть-то нечего. Если путешествуете с детьми - эту ферму обязательно стоит посетить. Взрыв положительных эмоций, возможность покормить и погладить лосей. На момент нашего визита их там было 5 штук, старший самец - гигант в полтора раза выше человеческого роста.В здании фермы находится ресторан, в котором можно попробовать блюда из лосиного мяса :)

Pussa älgar och träffa den trevliga personalen är en hit för stora och små. Här brinner man för det man gör och det märks. Rekommenderas!

Если вы никогда не видели лосей, то вам должно понравиться. Эти огромные животные в итоге оказываются достаточно социальными и милыми - еще бы, вы ведь кормите их деликатесом - сырой картошкой:)Служительница, которая водит к лосям, перед этим красочно рассказывает про лосей - кто, что, почему и как. Дает потрогать рога и шерсть, в общем, предваряет само посещение и вызывает небольшой ажиотаж.Все безопасно, но все равно страшновато поначалу видеть, как в загон к огромным 6-7 лосям запускают людей с детьми.
