Good for a day out, or a drive away from Gothenburg!Very cold, not much happening on the winter, but very friendly and nice little place...The fortress is good to walk around, and there is one or two little shops, I imagine in the summer is a very different place, but it was a nice day out a nice drive from Gothenburg.

Great for a walk around the small village which is painted in pastels. We walked the castle wall but didn't go inside. Some nice little shops for boating souvenirs of quality like clothing, bags made out of discarded sails.

The island has several nice maritime themed shops and restaurants. The fortress is exciting and interesting to be guided about. You can swim from the cliffs or walk to the beach. There is a small person's ferry to the island, which is free from cars. We've been there several times. Swimming is free, but the ferry and fortress cost money.

Великолепный городок, обязателен к посещению. Классическая деревушка на острове в окрестностях Гетеборга. Добраться легко как на машине, так и на общественном транспорте. Красивые улочки, живописные дома, забитые яхтами причалы и ощущения лета, радости и великолепия жизни. Можно добрать до крепости, можно понежиться на пляже, можно просто погулять по улочкам, все это доставит незабываемое удовольствие.

Vilket ställe ta en tur till och runt Fästningen här finns även möjlighet till guidade turer promenera till grottan och på kvällskvisten tänd en eld besök gallerierna med härliga tavlor ta prova fiken eller restaurangerna med sina utbud här kan man segla fiska bada andas havsluft hälsa på fiskmåsar

Kan rekommendera en guidad tur på Carlstens fästning, bra guide och intressanta historier. En promenad runt ön är ett också ett måste.

Ett Augusti-besök när badvattnet är 22+ och solen skiner på Marstrand är en helt underbar upplevelse.

Débarqué du ferry, on arrive dans Main Street puis on grimpe vers le fort et on se retrouve dans la forêt avec ses grottes bien cachées. On continue par un tour quasi complet de l'ile sue les rochers. Baignade, casse-croute, bronzette, pêche, de quoi occuper un bonne demi journée !

Потрясающей красоты место, классическая Швеция: с белвми двухэтажными домиками, мощеными улочками и восхитительной природой. Туристическая тропа огибает весь остров и с каменистого пляжа, изобилующего стелящимися растеними, можно попасть густой хвойный лес. Контраст юодрит и впечатляет. Обязательное место для посещения всем любителям Скандинавии.

Jag uppskattar de typiska trähusen som tillhör kusten och Bohuslän. Att ta med sig en handduk och ha en picnic vid havet är livskvalitet. Fiskmåsar och båtliv ger en härlig känsla. Genuina små butiker och Marstrands fästning som är en uppskattad sevärdighet.

Ta fergen fra marstrand til denne fantastiske perlen! Det er anlagt flotte stier langs vannet og gjennom den lille skogen! Skjærgården av ypperste klasse. Avslutt gjerne i de store fortet Carlsten festning som ble påbegynt på 1600-tallet. Her lukter det nordiske kriger og admiral tordenskiold!
