California of Sweden! Near Halmstad, the home town of Roxette/Per Gessle! Per is also part owner of Hotel Tylösand. At the hotel there's also a photo gallery, Tres Hombres Art, with photos by Alberts Watson, Terry O’Neill, Anton Corbijn, Mary McCartney and many more.
Beautiful beach to go for a walk, practice some kitesurf during windy days. During summer you can go to the restaurants nearby and have something to eat with ocean view.
Perfect beach for all family. Guarded by baywatchers all day in high summer. No dogs are allowed between 1 May to 15 Sept. Nice, clean beach, can be à little crowded just below the hotel. Very beautiful in the evening watching the sunset.
it's the best beach i ever seee and was.. very lovely place, beautifull view,sunset,,paradisee..on earth
A very nice beach with soft sand and beautiful sand hill. Lots of people and good service places such as restaurants toilets etc. As well as life guards. Swedens most famous beach, worth pay a visit.
Tylösand is a chic beach resort on the Swedish west coast, just outside the town of Halmstad. The beach offers 10 km of beautiful white sand and rolling dunes. Its shallow clean waters make it perfect for young families as well as for surfing and other types of water sports. Apart from the beach you’ll find a lot of other attractions in Tylösand.Hotel Tylösand is located in the dunes next to the beach. The hotel was elected Sweden’s best spa resort in 2012 by World Travel Awards. Beside the Spa it offers a wide range of restaurants, a huge after beach area which swallows up to 4 000 party and music lovers (sunny days in July). Finally the hotel hosts Halmstad’s best night club during summer (only June-July), Leifs Lounge. In the pine forest some hundred meters from the seafront you will find Halmstad Golf Club, one of Sweden’s best golf courses (the North course is probably the best in my opinion). Halmstad Golf Club hosted the Solheim Cup back in 2007.
Go to the beach in front of Hotel Tyløsand. The beach here are perfect. There is a little cafe, where you can buy drinks and light meal.
Maria took me here and we walked around! Didn't stay long since it was crowded but it was so beautiful! Swedish people live for the summer! I mean everyone was there or walking to the beach! They also had what looked like a little Island out in the ocean(not sure if anyone lived on it) but it looks cool! I'm from Jamaica so I get it!! Hahahha! #vist it#you will love it here!!
A very nice beach close to Halmstad. We parked close to the Golf Course and only had a short walk to the beach. Great sand, lots of activities, fast food, toilets. Even tough there were lot of of people on the beach we didn´t think it was crowded.
Tylosand has certainly lived up to all the compliments that have been heaped upon it by the Scandinavians! A clean and beautiful beach that was actually not as crowded as what I would have expected. It also stretches on for miles, and we found it great for a lovely walk. Check out the After Beach too if you're there during the summer!
Be sure to take time out to have a stroll along Tylösand Strand as we enjoyed it thoroughly. Fab sea views and good facilities along the beach at several points.
Not to recommend for anyone under the age of 18 If you are going there, be sure to come early, otherwise you will have to walk far to find any room for yourself and your friends
Tylösand is a nice beach. The neighborhood is an interesting place to visit and see how is the life in this place. The beach is beautiful, but not too much for a Brazilien.
On a warm summer day you better arrive early to find a parking spot, otherwise take the bus from town center. Spend the whole day at the beach and then go over to Hotel Tylesand and listen to live music at the After beach event.
Probably Sweden's best sand beach. 5 miles long, white sand and pine trees above the dunes. There are a lot of people visiting the beach during July in particular but as beautiful during the winter. One of the nice things about Tylösand is its location with a fantastic sunset over the small island of Tylön.Do NOT swim to Tylön but if you get the chance, go with a both for a swim, some nice snorkeling or a walk at the island. It is bigger than it looks like from land.During the summer, go an enjoy the after beach at Hotel Tylösand. It starts at 16.00 but if the weather is nice you should be there earlier on a Friday or Saturday.
