I held my wedding reception at Brownlow House recently. I have to say the whole experience was fantastic. The staff were really great. The food was Fantastic too. We had our wedding cake made there too. Saved loads of hassle and Robert who organised everything couldn't have been more accommodating. The only slight let down is there is no accommodation, however Seagoe Hotel is nearby and is a grand substitute. Really can't recommended Brownlow as a Wedding venue highly enough.

Was in brownlow house recently . I order lasagne and salad . Lasagne must of been cook days in advanced and then ping in microwave for to long mince in lasagne almost tasted like Rice Krispies and salad was very limp and no where near fresh. Food was so bland and not very well seasoned .my partner had Apple tart and cream pastry look like putty and can apples were fowl . Heard good reports about food. Maybe got a off day there. Will not dine there again Ian Warringstown

We visited Brownlow House yesturday for lunch. The house is elegant and you feel that you have stepped back in time. The setting is beautiful and the food was good. Hubby had steak casserole and I had the panini special. Service was good. Had a walk through Lurgan park which was lovely-lots of swans, geese and birds. Will definately return!

A real gem of a building and hugely important in lurgans history. Never thought that you could get in to have a look around but impressed with all the old photos and history

Food on offer mostly canteen type dinners and very small selection of sweets (mostly in plastic wrappers). We had toasted sandwiches which were totally tasteless. Apple tart no better, bland pastry and tinned apples. The cream made it edible. Americano ordered but got what looked and tasted like filter coffee. Nice setting with lots of potential that is not being utilised- sad to see. Cheaply made food that is clearly all about profit margins. It would be great to a few more decent places in Lurgan.

I visit Brownlow House very often, mostly meet my brother there for morning coffee. It never fails to please us whether coffee and a scone or something more substantial. When you enter the house you immediately get a tranquil feeling, it's like stepping back in time. To-day I took my Westie to Lurgan park (walkies) and parked my car at Brownlow House whilst we walked around the nearby lake. It was lovely, sunny and bright. On our return I was able to get a coffee to go and a freshly made sandwich. It was just wonderful sitting having my "picnic" and of course sharing with Connie (my Westie).Nothing is ever any trouble to the girls, always pleasant and willing to please.

As a wedding florist I am in Brownlow House very regular. The staff are very helpful and cheerful. I have had many meals there and always excellent. There is a lovely coffee shop with open fires, beautiful views over Lurgan lake. Can't think of a nicer setting.

Cafe set in beautiful surroundings, overlooking Lurgan park. Tours of the castle are available on certain dates.
