We visited go ape in September 2014 - there were 4 in our party and we all had a great time (except my partner who is scared of heights lol) Its a fun day out for all ages and a fab adrenaline rush!

I went here as part of a large group and we all had great fun, I would definitely go back! The only issues was with midges, which can't be avoided around trees and shrubbery in hot weather. So if you're going during summer, I would recommend insect repellent and clothing/accessories to keep the midges off.

We visited as a group of 3 and loved every minute! Staff were great, funny and friendly, very approachable. Safety briefing does drag a bit but of course it's essential, and the staff did their best to keep everyone's attention! The course itself is very well made with a huge mix of obstacles. Equipment is well maintained and easy to use. Really loved that the initial group was split up into smaller groups and it wasn't necessary to go round the course with an instructor. Being able to buy phone lanyards (to take pics!) and gloves there was great, especially as they were reasonably priced. Course took around 3 hours to complete, loved every minute. Well worth it!

Well organised and varied mixture of zip wires and tree loft/commando like tests and experiences. Even my daughter who has a fear of heights and nearly aborted before the start, came through it with flying colours!

I went as part of a girls group of 4. Was an extremely wet day but I think this added to the fun! It was an amazing day! The staff were great! Would definately book again!

We recently visited as a group of four and really enjoyed our day. The course takes about three hours to complete and there are lots of different types of activities you get to do along the way... the tarzan swing was my favourite. I did like being able to go around the course with our group instead of with a set group and instructor. However, being a bit of a daredevil I would have liked some more adventurous/advanced obstacles that we could have taken part in... maybe with someone qualified at those parts! There was quite a lot of time spent waiting, not as bad if you're part of a group because you're talking but for some I can imagine it might get frustrating. Overall, we had a great day and glad to say we've done it!

Have been to go ape aberfoyle 4 times now and it never disappoints. Great staff, great views and a really exciting course. Have been with my 11 year old niece and my 64 year old mum, and it is great for all ages.

Booked for a teenagers day out together as a family as there are few attractions that I could get my older kids to enjoy. Everyone loved it.

I went to go ape for my 24th birthday & it was incredible. Such good value for money as the course took about 3 hours. It was a lot more adventurous than I expected as the course is pretty high up off the ground in the trees. My favourite obstacles were all the zip wires, especially the really long one at the start and finish and the tarzan swing which was amazing! I'll definitely be back. :)

Teenage kids got gift vouchers for last Xmas and we finally managed to slot in our visit. From start to finish we couldn't complain. Book in was straightforward with clear guidelines and info about our visit. Up to training session which was very informative and essential considering what was to come. It's a L. O. N. G. Zip wire to the actual treetop courses. What a beginning to adventure to come. Bit scary considering 47yo!! Enjoyed the differing levels of difficulty and managed all except two expert options, just don't have same nerve! Kids had a ball and hubby who had sore knee chatted to other bystanders in same area as up taking photos from the ground. The last zip lasts over 30 seconds and there are beautiful views looking down from above. Fabulous experience - well done all.

Great adventure for the kids. The café is expensive and closes without warning at 4pm sharp even though some people are still out flying through the trees. The forest walk is beautiful.

The main pull for my family going to this Go Ape was the 2 massive zipwires and they did not disappoint! We booked into the first slot on a weekday morning and it was just the 5 of us (ranging from 21-53years old) so we had the whole place to ourselves which was amazing. We could take our time and really enjoy each obstacle with the whole forest to ourselves! The first zipwire is great and dispells any fears you may have and then the obstacles get progressively harder/higher. Everyone in our party had a great time even if there were some nervous moments! The final zip wire (the longest) was amazing and I wish we could have gone again. Well worth the visit but I can imagine it gets very busy in summer/weekends so try to pick a quieter time. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable - would go again! Parking is pay and display (£3 for the day) and there is a lovely little cafe as well with beautiful views!

I booked the Go Ape experience for my 10 year old nephew and my husband. They had an absolute ball. To be honest I thought they would only be away for an hour but it lasts for over 3 hours and I thought that was great value for money. So much so I intend to book it again for my nephew and husband (even if he wants to or not!).

The staff were great here and did a thorough safety briefing without being boring or condescending. The trail was really great and was a good mix of activities and the views from the zip wire were awesome! Loved the whole experience. Thank you
