Must visit if you love Whisky.Very nice experience for a famous Whisky, the location is very beautiful and the buildings for the distillery are great, we visit without group, without organized tour and the entrance was free, a good surprise. Very nice tour and at the end you taste 3 glasses of there great products, 12 yrs, 15 yrs & 18 yrs whisky. You can buy suvenirs and whisky from the shop inside the distillery. Perfect and continue like this.

An interesting tour round the destillery. We got to see the hole process from grain to wisky and in the shop there was a display of wiskies from Grant's to Glenfittich. The oldest one at a cost of 5000£. Also a very well stocked giftshop.

Make sure you stop by, the distillery is definitely worth a look and the guide will take you on a complete tour. The whiskey tasting at the end is enojyable and insightful. The Staff is very friendly.

a very interesting tour in a famous distillery, in a great location, coffee-shop and a tasting treat at the end of the tour of their famous whiskies of 12,15 and 18 years old.

A recent company policy change (January this year, I understand) means that under 18s can't event tour the distillery - shame as the process is fascinating (having experienced it elsewhere).

coffee and hot chocolate very good quality....cakes may have been fresher....probably due to the cafe being quiet.

We took a friend who was visiting from Norway and thoroughly enjoyed it. We phoned ahead in order to plan the trip from Aberdeen (little over an hour's drive) and waited only 10-15 minutes for the tour to start. Our guide was a bit distracted in some parts of the tour (She's been working there for some years....) but overall she was fun and informative. The Glenfiddich story is good fun and interesting but the tour goes quickly. One and a half hour seemed to take only a few minutes before we were sitting at a table tasting four different products. Definitely recommended but remember, no children on the Explorers Tour.

.. so you know when the tours take place. We ended waiting for an hour and a half for the explorer tour, but it most definitely worth it. Excellent facilities, very informative tour (this was out first one ever). And the location itself is stunning.

We did the first ever Solera tour today. It was brilliant. Booked well in advance, cost £35 each. Two and a half hours, initially I wasn't sure how that was going to be filled, but it was!Our tour guide Beth was brilliant, very knowledgeable, knows her product well, enjoys a dram or two herself and has a sense of humour. The two and half hours flew in. The tour numbers are kept small, in fact there was my self and my husband and another couple on this tour, so it was ideal.Thoroughly enjoyed it, including the nosing of the drams and the wee mix master session at the end.We can totally recommend the experience to anyone, well worth the money, just suggest you get a taxi and not dram, so you can enjoy the drams at the end.Claire and Andrew

Having visitors from overseas who wanted to tour a distilliary we arranged to go on the Explorers Tour (£10 a head) and it was very good. The guide was friendly and while the basic tour doesn't go into too much detail we were impressed with her.For those who are really into their whisky it may not be to their taste as it does lack a certain hook but as an entry into the world of whisky it's pretty useful.Visited on a Friday when it will have been slightly quieter.

Visited the Distillery in January 2015,very good signage and an excellent car park. Simply cross the narrow road from the car park and into the entrance footpath which leads to the Visitor Welcome Centre where you'll find spotless toilets, the whiskey hand wash smells gorgeous! Pay your £10 and it's only a short wait to the next tour. The hour and half tour starts with a superb film in the on site cinema followed by a informative tour around the complex. Our guide Hannah, was very friendly and knowledgeable. You will see how the casks are made and how the malt master blends the whiskey to form 12, 14, 15 18 etc year editions. Then it's off to the superb tasting room, here you will sample 12, 14 15 and 18yr Malts and your guide will explain the different flavours and aromas. If you're driving you can "nose" the different Malts and you are given a miniature of the 12 year Malt. All in all the tour is great value for money and you must pop into the Barn restaurant, superb food and friendly service and great value for money, then as you leave you will pass the shop where you can buy your Glenfiddich souvenir, my preference was the 15 year Malt.

Slick, profesional and lives up to the global brand.Have been many times, whilst I feel the tour has lost some of its reel feel base this on those office guys who call themselves 'health and safety' nevertheless the food in the bistro/ coffee shop is absolutely first class. I have eaten in many places over the years and the quality of the food is amongst the best I have had.Staff first class and again from a brand as strong as Glenfidich feel this is a tribute to how things can and should be done.As for the toilets FANTASTIC.

Enjoyed our morning coffee at the Restaurant in front of the beautiful open log fire, on a cold and windy day. We were a party of 4 our Danish guests very much enjoyed their free tour and tastings. The whole place is just spotless.Hope to stop and have lunch, as I spotted haggis, neeps, and tatties.

For any visitor to Scotland or indeed anyone interested in Whisky a visit to the Glenfiddich Distillery will remain in the memory. Beautifully sculptured grounds and rest rooms fit for a Queen combine with a lovely restaurant to eat in after the Distillery Tour. The onsite shop is a tad expensive and many of the products can be purchased more economically from the village of Dufftown.

We did the £10 hour and a half tour, which includes tastings of the 12, 14, 15 & 18 year old Whiskey at the end. As the sober driver I couldn't drink, however the guide gives drivers a small bottle instead. You to see the distilling process from beginning to end. I'd rank this as one of the best brewery/distillery tours I've done (above the Guinness, Heinekin and Jameson tours). The location is remote and beautiful...it almost feels like a magical area. Highly recommended.
