Dear JayeThank you for the glowing review, it is greatly appreciated.You were lucky to get such high water as the section you ran is usually only done twenty or so times a year.The lower section of the River Findhorn is a little shorter but a very special bit of river. Dear CallumThank you for taking the time to post a review on TripAdvisor.We do take younger than 13 year old children at certain times of year as you pointed out on the full day rafting and cliff jumping trip on the River Findhorn. We have a clear policy on ages and grades of rapids. Summer works well as the river is usually lower, ideal as that is the school holiday time!Point taken on the lunches and we have been scratching our heads on this one for years. The challenge we have is that due to the river being totally natural we can have variations in the levels and consequently sections we run the trips on. The narrow sections of the river that are portaged require boats to be kept as light as possible meaning we cant take larger boats which would allow more equipment/food etc. The most commonly run section has no easy access to establish a regular serviced lunch spot which would be ideal. Hence the light snacks.In the future as we develop the rafting base we hope to be able to offer a BBQ after the trip which would make a late lunch, for this to be viable without significantly increasing the cost we need more people! (Thanks for helping spread the word!)Price wise, no its not cheap but we do our best for it to be great value. Operating costs, staffing and equipment wear and tear is pretty high on the river due to the nature of it. Our prices have remained as they were five years ago and hopefully the repeat customers see continual improvement of service.Thanks again and all the best fromJim & the Team @ Ace

Great feedback and we will certainly look at adding a couple of fun signs up the road to the Ace Base, this has come up a couple of times.Toilets are all done now but the building work will go on, we have some many exciting developments in the pipeline.
