Believe it or not, we show the work of over 70 Scottish artists, with about 30 regularly being exhibited, so for anyone looking to get a snapshot of the our wonderful, vibrant Scottish art, they need look no further! Exhibitions are constantly changing and, even in Fraser East where we have Francis Boag currently in residence, the works are constantly being refreshed. Just walk inside the exquisite building on South Street, and you will instantly be touched by a world of colour, energy and beautiful skilled artworks.The Fraser gallery collection of pictures are both stimulating ,thought provoking and highly creative skilled works...the owners and staff are both passionate and well informed about the artists they represent..which all adds up to a very interesting and stimulating visit...an absolute "must" when in St Andrews....

Both our galleries - Fraser Gallery St Andrews and Fraser East - are housed in traditional merchants houses and boast some fantastic details which we have restored to the best of our ability. The vaulted room in Fraser East is very much admired and, whilst there are a few buildings in South Street with similar vaulted rooms, ours is one of the most easily accessible and worth a visit to the gallery to see it, never mind the art! A world class splash of colour and culture in the heart of the Auld Grey Toon. A fantastic little gallery with the best of Scottish contemporary art - would have queues outside the door if this was in Edinburgh or Glasgow. Great place to spend an hour or more, or a fortune... Owners are welcoming and knowledgeable. Kids welcome.

I visited this gallery recently and was thrilled to find some Robert Macmillan works on display. The man on duty gave us a lot of information about forthcoming exhibitions so we will definitely be back.

Fraser gallery is a perfect place to visit on a rainy afternoon, i particularly enjoyed their Francis Boag exhibition with lots of quality works. The owners are really approachable and knowledgeable which makes the visit all the more enjoyable!

Walking into a gallery can be very scary. This is not the case for the Fraser Gallery as it is made up of several spaces allowing you to enjoy the great Scottish art at your ease and not feel too overwhelmed. If you are lucky enough to be approached by Roderick Fraser do not hesitate to speak to him as he is a fount of all knowledge about Scottish art.
