me and my partner went away to benalmadena for are first get away as I couple! Saw buddies as it looked busy so we decided to go in...For the rest of the week we went back there! Was so much fun met some amazing people Malcolm and Jackie and Shane was really welcoming and such a great laugh Music in buddies was great such a wide variety.Was really sad to leAvePlaning on taking the family there in October

Been coming here for years, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, and know how to pour a proper measure will be visiting again in April!

Every year we go over to benalmadena to celebrate new year. New years eve we always go to buddy's bar. We have made some really good friends from all parts of the uk who we keep in touch with and meet up with every year. The owners jackie and Malcolm are two of the nicest people we have ever met. They will do anything for you. And there's Shane too who works behind the bar, he is great. Wouldn't go anywhere else to see the new year in.

Have visited Benalmadema for a long weekend for the last 2 January's. Lovely place to stay for a bit of winter sun made all the better by Buddy's. What a friendly reception you get. Lovely atmosphere - you don't want to leave! Fantastic little find in Plaza Ole - hope to be back soon.

We found Buddys on TA about three years ago and have made sure we've been back on all of the 6 or so visits since.The location is lovely, but it's the vibe that you just can't beat. Jackie, Malcolm and Shane always make you feel welcome and are great to have a bit of banter with. There's a lot of ex pats drink here as well as return visitors on their hols and everyone is really friendly - you end up chatting until all hours of the morning.We have followed up on several recommendations for eateries from the Buddys Bar team and all have been spot on!Absolutely great bar. Back in 4 weeks and can't wait.

Buddy's bar has been around for years . It is in Plaza Ole, just beside the Triton Hotel. It is open every night from 6.30 till late. The owners are Malcolm and Jackie from England who make you most welcome and find time to chat to you. Prices are good and there is seating inside and outside. Great bar to meet people and have a chat as there is no TV or loud music. Good place to make new friends. Definitely a "MUST VISIT BAR". the place to be if you like a chilled night out in a typical spanish square,nice friendly staff .got to know them by there first names the first evening ,jackie malcolm and an irish lad by the name of cyril from longford, drinks are very reasonable too ,have a look in you wont be dissapointed

A bar is a bar is a bar and lets face it the Costa Del Sol is full of them. What makes buddy's different is the welcome. Jackie and Shane are as friendly a front line staff as I've ever met anywhere. No glitz, no glamour, no music, just an honest friendly welcome from people you know mean it. We loved sitting chatting. Our thanks to all there.

This bar is located in the plaza ole i think and is well worth a visit . Very friendly guy behind the bar and the landlady is really nice and friendly . We asked her to recommed a steak house and her recommendation was spot on .

Just been on holiday in Benlmadina Costa del sol. Visited Buddy's bar in Plaza Ole on an evening where the atmosphere is lovely, with very nice owners Jackie and husband,and Shane a super waiter. We were made very welcome would recommend this bar if you need to chill after a busy day holidaymaking Super place Super Staff dont miss this great bar.

Fantastic bar in a lovely square just off the main road. The owners and staff were really nice. While on holiday I had a cold and everytime I went here the owner made me a hot toddy and on one particular night it was cool and the owner brought ouf pashminas for the lady customers.

Jackie and Malcolm run this fabulous little bar that just oozes welcome and makes you feel as though you have been drinking with them for the past few years and not just the last few days! Talking with the other customers sitting outside, some have been coming for years and still enjoy the company and the friendly service.There is NO Karaoke and NO television, but people sit and chat amicably - so go along and tell 'em that Michael Jackson told you to say hi - and hopefully Jackie or the Irish heart throb Shane will see to it that you are well looked after.
