All the lots are on the water orView of the water. Trails and geocaching were great. The playgrounds and beach are perfect. Bathhouse all in order. One near picnic area needs work but all in all a very well taken care of park. The office was easy and the staff were great. Bring the boat and fishing poles.

We decided to stay here while passing through the area. We stayed on site 85, I believe, which is set for a pull through. It was near a comfort station and we had power, water, and grey water. Black was not an option but it is easily taken care of on the way out. We did not hv wi-fi and had to make adjustments for work. It's a trade off: beautiful view of the woods and lake vs all amenities. We very much enjoyed the view. This is certainly a great place to stay!

Had a great stay in cabin 1 on the lake. Great hiking, beautiful sunsets, very quiet. Usually tent campers, but we shared this cabin w/another family. W/the full kitchen and satellite television, felt more like a resort stay. Visited the camping loops and would like to visit, again, in the spring for a tent stay.

We love this park! It is quiet and it's great for many activities: you can hike in the forest, kayak and fish in the lake, camp with facilities or backcountry. The park is open til 10pm so you have time to arrive to start the week-end on a Friday night! The only negative aspect is that you can be lost on trails, the map doesn't match with the trail and there are only a few signs to indicate your way (Rock Dam trail). But it's ok for an adventure!

We use mistletoe for the beach, playground and boat launch. Always plenty of room. Very clean facilities. If you are coming for the water, check the pool levels on the lake. All activities on the water when the lake is full.

It's not a very great park. It is highly overated! I don't think it holds up to all the hype that it has an that I'm told about.

Great Weather and first time out Motorcycle Trailer Camping. Beautiful park and facilities were clean. Clark's Hill Lake was pretty clean. Fishing, canoeing, trails and swimming makes for a great 3 night camping. A little surprised that tent sites are on stones but ok. Great setup for electric and water per site. Surprised that water and electric are together on post at site. Hardly any Mosquitos but ants aplenty. Had a great time. Love the honesty and openness of the fellow campers and all.

Traveled in an rv for a few days to this park. We enjoyed it. There are a lot of sites with excellent and easy access to the lake right from your campsite. The facilities are well kept. We were very much amateur s at the rv type of camping and the campground host Mr. Bill was a great resource!

Nice park with lots of trails. We stayed at one of the 3 backcountry sites. The park's map was slightly deceiving as the blue & white trails don't split at the 1st creek crossing. Also, the "vista" on the blue trail is of a pine tree stand. :) Maybe 6-7 years ago when the map was created there was a nice vista of the lake. We had a great time & want to plan another trip to stay at one of the walk-in campsites on the lake.

This is one of the parks in the Georgia State Park system and it is amazing. We are traveling with a 38 foot fifth wheel and have a giant site right on Clark's Hill Lake. The view out our windows and from our yard cannot be beat. There are no sewer hook ups, but, that is not a big deal to us. We are here in April for almost two weeks and would love to stay longer. The park is immaculate (we were here during Spring break and the Masters Golf Tournament) and the staff kept up with the packed park flawlessly. Will be back again.

We rented a cottage for the weekend and had a great time. Spent the days hiking trails through the woods where we saw several deer. Rented Cabin 10 and took our greyhounds. The cabin was about 100 yards from the lake and we had fun walking on the beach with the dogs. Every cabin has an outside firepit and tables. Inside the cabins there is a fireplace and even though there is a They suggest you gather fallen firewood to help prevent tree rot and there is a lot of it close by to burn. During the summer you have to rent for a week but during off season 2 days is a great escape.. Full kitchens are included and each cabin sleeps at least 10 if you want to.

Nice place to stop by and take in nature. Lots of parking, lots of picnic tables. Clean and maintained.

Every time we go visit relatives we look for new parks to visit and hike. This time we went to Mistletoe State Park in Appling, Georgia. There was a small entrance fee of $5. This park has several different trails that loop and connect but for the most part everything was well marked. We started down a path paved with rubber mulch which ran along something we've never seen before, gullies. Our only frustration was when we got on the blue trail it suggested we cross a stream that had running water over shale. We could see that wasn't safe. Further along we found a spot where the Blue trail seemed to pickup but again it sent us across water, this time no telling how deep. We gave up and returned to the other trail. A bridge would be nice. That being said this park has some very nice facilities and is located on a lovely lake. We did not camp here but we walked around. If it had not been so chilly we might have taken a dip in the lake.

This used to be our campground of choice. When the children were young it was always our delight to enjoy a week or a weekend at Mistletoe. The State Parks have suffered from recent changes but I expect Mistletoe is still among the best

Visited here at the end of season, but I would love to come back and stay for a few days in the summer or early fall. It is just a beautiful peaceful place. There is a fee to enter, but it's a state park, so what do you expect? They have campgrounds and cabins available. Looked to me like most of these have quite a view!
