Went on the Middle Ocoee about a week ago. It was absolutely amazing. The staff was great, funny, and made sure we had a great time. They also went over all safety before taking on the river and ensured that everyone had proper equipment. Our guide Sosebee was the absolute best, hands down. I highly suggest you request him to be your guide. He was talkative, funny, and great overall. Our group had a great time, and I would definitely recommend rolling thunder to my friends.

this is our favorite river guide company for the Ocoee and Will is one of the best guides that we ever have had!!! We always request Will and his trip is always rewarding and action packed!!! We will be back again and again and again etc...! Thanks to all who make the company the best!!! BTW, Laura the manager remembered me and my name when I walked in even though it has been two years since we have been there!!!

Been rafting once before in a different natural river where there was just 2 rafts on a 6 hour trip and did not see another party all day but did have to walk over a small parts of the course due to low water level where the river went very wide. This river has a controlled release from a reservoir so you get a guaranteed good level of flow which is great, however maybe because of this or the accessibility of this river / I went at the weekend there were lots of rafts going down the river at the same time from several companies. I think I preferred the less busy experience, however still give this 5 stars as its a great day out and a bargain only $35 for the mid river course. The instructors are good fun and make the whole experience safe.Highly recommended

We had a great time in the Nantahala rafting with Rolling Thunder. It was my first time white-waterrafting. We had a great guide and we will be back again. They were great. I would recommendthis to anyone.

Did the Middle Ocoee trip with a few friends, and had an amazing time. We found out that Sept is the best time of year to do this, due to weather and water temp. Our guide Kat was the best, and it looked like our raft was having the most fun and adventure on the river! Definitely worth checking out.

It was mine and my husband's first time rafting, and we had an amazing time. We had the phenomenal WILL as our guide. He tailored the experience to the group in his raft, as a group of adventurers, he worked to make an already exciting trip one that we'd never forget. He had so much experience in these rapids (7 seasons) and we learned so much about the Nantahala Gorge. I highly recommend Rolling Thunder River co for their excellence in providing you a super fun, well-organized, great-value adventure! AND especially Will for your rafting adventure!!

I took my husband rafting for his birthday, Will was our guide & all though I wasn't in anyone else's raft, it seemed we were the only ones really surfing the hydraulics. Will was very entertaining & knowledgeable of local history. We will definitely be back & requesting Will! Don't forget to tip your guide!

I have never went whitewater rafting until now, one of my husband co-worker recommend this company so we went. I had so much fun and our guide Andy was the best and he rocked.... I will be back next year to do it all over again. If you never have done white water rafting you got to do it, so much fun and I'm hook on the sport .. We drove over 500 miles from Florida just to make it a one day trip and I would drive back to day to do it again. All you need to bring is the will to have fun! do wear light weight shoes , shorts and a t-shirt ,clothing that will dry fast.I had so much fun!!!!! :)

This was my first time! Only took once to get me hooked. At the end, I wanted to turn right around and do it again! Danny was an awesome guide. Sorry to see you go.. I will be back again, and again, and again! This trip should be at the TOP of everyone's bucket list. I loved it! Second most thrilling thing I have ever done in my life..2nd only to scuba diving.

I have never been whitewater rafting, but after one trip, I am hooked!! We had the BEST guide in the world!! Brooklyn is fantastic!! She made our trip both safe and fun! I'd go every weekend and request her as a guide each time. Don't hesitate about this. Book this trip, you will NOT be disappointed!!

Took the Double Trouble with Lunch and was/am very pleased. The experience was amazing and our guide - Chris - was excellent. The upper portion of the Ocoee was fun, the provided lunch was good, and the middle Ocoee was excellent. We can't wait to do it again! A+

Our photographers do try very hard to get shots of everyone in the raft but it is a challenge at times. Does this need to be said??? These folks have just returned you safely from what COULD have been a bone crushing experience...instead, you're alive and booking your next trip!!!I've survived 4 times and Will has been my guide 3 of those 4 times...the whole crew is very professional from top (yes ,Laura, I'm talking about you!!!) to bottom and you will have a great time no matter your skill level. These folks are the best!!! Rafting with Rolling Thunder should be on everyone's bucket list!!!
