Talking about a museum this is so cool! take your kids they will get lost in amazement with they have no clue even existed with all of todays technology.
This used to be a great little museum. It even had one of the rare Tucker autos. Unfortunately, the last time I was in the park the museum was closed. Wonder what they did with the Tucker?
A nice selection of antique and classic cars, some a one of a kind. Well worth the money!
really enjoyed this place,we're big into old cars and antiques,
If you like antique cars like my husand, then you will enjoy the many cars that are displayed in this museum.
Unfortunately this museum is closed, though Stone Mountain Park remains open with many other activities and attractions available.
Having visited stone mountain park during what must have been an extremely busy day, the car museum was worth the break from the larger attractions. The place was indoors and offered a decent selection of old cars and different items like a carousel and small knick knacks. Though the place is a little dark and dusty, it was okay and wouldnt mind visiting again if we ever go back. Def. needs a little updating and a good cleaning, but there were only a few people in the museum and was nice to get away from the larger crowds.. our then 4 year old son ran around when no one else was there and liked seeing some of the items on display. if you want something more low key and not packed with crazy tourists and there noisy kids, than you might want to give this small old museum a chance. You can see everything here in 30 minutes or less.
Stone Mountain Park is a must see family destination, just outside of the bustling city of Atlanta. The laser show is awesome, and the park itself is an oasis of nature in a large metro area. It's the best family value around, see the laser show and enjoy the park all for $7 parking fee! Don't even bother buying attraction tickets, the park has more than enough to do for free. "Climbing" the mountain is easy and rewarding, bring water, and allow a couple hours for the round trip walk to the top and down.Be sure to see the laser show, and if you want to do an attraction, see the antique museum, even the kids will enjoy it!Cheers!Daniel Orlando, FL
Lugar tranquilo, interesante, lleno de historia, variada demostración de objetos, buena conservación. Deficiente iluminación y solo en idioma inglés.
