This place is a must visit for the view alone. There is a massive window at the back of the store that has a view of the whole valley. It is a great place to grab a glass or bottle and relax on the couches. As far as the wine goes, I was very happy with a number of the white wines. My wife and I have been here twice now and both times we end up buying a few of the white wines. The reds were still enjoyable, and actually probably some of the best in Jerome, they are just a little pricey for what you get. Though owner is also very fun and informative. We will be back again.
Decided to venture over to Jerome during our Sedona vacation. So glad we did, and glad we stopped in here! The almond and raspberry sparkling wines were delicious. The overlook of the city was fantastic. Would highly recommend stopping here!
The wine is good , but the view is fantastic!! It's worth it to get a glass or a tasting & enjoy the scenery!! The jewelry is very pretty too. Local artists.
i honestly would drive to Jerome just to sip wine in this gem of a winery. They have a comfy seating area near a wall of windows that showcases one of the best views in Jerome. The wines are very good (some are award winning). The staff is very knowledgeable and will happily answer any questions you may have. A must see in Jerome!!
What a find! We were surprised by the quality of Arizona wines i.e. the ones we tasted here andBrandon was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the wines. The view was breathtaking, the décor fun and staff enjoyable. Bought a few to go but they didn't last long enough. Will tell all my friends that travel to this part of Arizona that they must stop here!
Last stop of the day, almost didn't stop -- so glad we did. Spent an hour with Brandon talking Arizona wine. He was energetic, knowledgable and fun to get to know. Had not experienced AZ wine - left with $$$$ worth. Great atmosphere, view, wine - so glad we stopped.
Be sure to talk to Bridget. Very knowledgeable! !!!! These wines are outstanding!!!!! The views are even more amazing.
My wife and I visited this winery and had a delicious cheese tray along with our wine tasting. A neat atmosphere and friendly people.
We are from the Finger Lakes wine region and were visiting Jerome. This was more of a wine tasting room, then a winery. In the Finger Lakes the wineries are located on the grounds with the vineyards around them. Bitter Creek has ok wines, we did not find anything exceptional, but with over 100 wineries near us we may be locally spoiled. The place has a full glass back area over looking the valley, so it is comfortable to taste and relax. The server was knowledgeable and they seem to be competitive California wines. I will say they had a delicious dessert wine, more of a mead then a wine but that's my opinion.
We stopped in on a whim while sight seeing in Jerome Arizona. The experience was delightful. The vistas from the tasting room were breathtaking. The wines we tasted were from the 2009 vintage and we tasted the reds. The four that we tasted were all very very good. Brigid, our host for the tasting was exhuberant, expert and entertaining. The 2009's are currently $10 off a bottle and are a great value. Although we did not sample all the wines from all the wineries, we thought the wines we tasted here were much better than others in the area that we tasted. Well worth a visit.
We had a wonderful experience with Bitter Creek Winery, recently renamed Cellar 433. We hosted a wine tasting here for our out of town guests and it far exceeded our expectations. Brigid was so awesome to work with. She took great care to make this a special, personalized event. All her little added touches were awesome. She let us set up a screen and projector for a video slideshow. Sara the bartender did a great job and was personable & friendly. The night was an amazing kick off to our wedding weekend and we are so thankful.
A great selection of wines enjoyed with a wonderful view. I especially liked the sparkling wines with fruit flavours. The server was fun and gave us a great run down of the wines.
Stopped here as it was one of the earliest opening tasting rooms. Roomy and nice views of the valley from the bar. Tasted Death while we were there but declined purchasing a bottle due to the price, definitely regretted it when we learned there only two bottles of that batch left! Won't take that chance again if they reproduce a variant.
Loved tasting here. Some of the wines were exceptional and some were not, but the view and decor are superb. The staff really went out of the way to make our time there informative and fun
Astounding view to complement your tasting. Some of the wines were sweeter than I prefer, but overall a great stop in Jerome. Same place as the Jerome winery (or at least - they were pouring wines from both places).
