High Mountain Trail Rides went out of their way to help our Boy Scout troop get some cross-country skiing in. Although after season and on short notice, they outfitted a large group, got us all skis and boots, gave us a good rate, and got us on the trail quickly, Really nice and knowledgeable people with whom to work, can't recommend them highly enough! Got to see some buffalo, too!

Don and Rico with High Mountain are extremely professional and very knowledgable at Pioneer Living History Museum just outside Phoenix.Great ride, beautiful horses and very enjoyable. I will go back next time I am in town.

My adult daughter and I were at this nice place in august. While we waited for the next ride we watch for some animals in a small zoo. I was delighted with buffalos. I never saw them before. Some of them just huge! Also there were two babies.The ride was wonderful. Riko was our wrangler. Horses were very calm and well trained. I almost didn't need to control the horse, it knew what to do itself. It was quite easy. The ride was in a great pine forest. We saw some squirrels in it and lots of plants and musrooms everywhere.The staff was friendly and supportive. I will definitely come back next time I visit Arizona.

I took my family up to High Mountain Trail Rides for a horseback trip. We all really enjoyed our time up there. Riko and Eddie were excellent guides and the horses were a treat to ride. All of the employees were friendly and sociable and made us all very comfortable. There was a wide range of riding skills represented in our group and they paired us all with horses to suit our needs. Even the most inexperienced riders among us really enjoyed the experience. And when the ride was over we all made our way to the nearby Pizza ranch for a meal. Overall: Great experience...Awesome People! We will definitely be back. :-)

I went with a bunch of my friends from NAU.These cowboys & girls gave us a great tour on horseback in the tall pine forest. I couldn't believe we were only a few short minutes away from Flag!Plus I wasn't supposed to tell anyone but they gave me a 10%student Discount & one of my friends home on military leave got one too!!You guys rock

We have recently undergone a partialownership change & I believe that the office staff person you referred to is no longer with us and the cat & litter box too.We've checked all our competitors and verified that we are the lowest advertised priced Trail Ride Company in Northern AZ !Although we can't change the rustic cabin where our office is located,we are in the process of reviewing our web site to assure we are accuratelyportraying the rustic & authentic experience we provide.Bottom line is we are a locally owned & operated business working hard 7 days a week trying to provide a safe & honest value for our guests!If it's not right, we will do our darnedest to make it so.We'd sure like chance to see you again, your ride will be on us :)Thanks again for your time & review.

They are also heard animals with distinct personalities.So for safety reasons, horses are hand picked for each rider by a professional wranglerand placed in line in a specific order. If you are in Northern Arizona and are looking to go on a horse back ride, look no further than High Mountain Trail Rides. Not only is the staff professional and friendly,but also the trail rides are exceptionally beautiful. The trail ride offers a great experience to capture what the northern arizona landscape has to offer. I felt very comfortable near the horses and the employees did a great job at making sure everyone was prepared for the ride. Great price for a great experience. If you go on a morning ride, make sure to sign up for the breakfast ride. The food is very delicious; exactly what I would want after a morning horseback ride. I highly recommend this establishment!!
