Visited Tombstone today as part of a three day(14-16-16 Feb ) program. The total was most impressive. All the choices in selecting this lead were viewed and outstanding. People dressed in the 1882 cloths- both male and female as well and the outstanding helpful ness of each and every native of Tombstone. Every one and i mean every one- was responsive to questions- most knowledgable and went out of there way to make my day both enjoyable and educational.There are other days and week ends in the year that the citizens of this historical community have planed programs for the public so go on line and dig them up and visit. Personally i learned so much--that the movie industry has not highlighted or shown- that it was very rewarding to learn. Attendance by others will be a learning event as well as very enjoyable. Costs were only for special events or food eaten so the total cost was well within most budgets. Boot hill cemetery was free. In my case i only spent money for tee shirts, food and books i wanted. Walk around-- sight see and talk picture at your pleasure with no entrance fees. Go visit enjoy the education,programs offered in a climate of fun and total relaxation. One hour thirty minute easy drive from Tucson. Road is wide four lane most of the way and smooth. Many camp sites for camper.

First I must admit that I enjoy local bars filled with locals in small towns...now to my review: We ended up at Doc Holliday's after visiting Big Nose Kate's which happened to close at around 10:30PM that particular night. We specifically asked for a local bar as we were sick of the tourist scene and were sent to this place. It was what we expected which was a local bar full of locals. Everyone was really friendly that evening and the bartender Mike was very pleasant. They had karaoke as it was Saturday, which we decided we had to partake in. The bathrooms were clean for bar bathrooms as were the floors and tables. Nice little local place if you are sick of flashy tourist joints.

The woman that wrote this, is the same one the other reviewer was talking about, she is a trouble maker in town and makes up stories as about things that obviously didn't happen, we have video of the incident and nothing she states is true. Thanks
