Their isn't much here. I've never seen the museum but the fort isn't very large. I could see this being a great setting for a civil war reenactment.

While the site itself is small and a little rundown, the area is full of history! If you are in the area, it's worth an hour or less of your time to stop by. Walk through the very small museum and then over to the replica of the fort LaSalle built along the Illinois River. Admittedly, it is very run down, but you can still picture what it would have been like living there. Take a short hike or drive to view the Fort Crevecoeur Monument.
