The wines (locally grown) are nothing to write home about but the food, service, and ambiance are great. I understand they are already making plans to expand to the empty store east. Defineatly worth a try!

My husband and I love to have dinner here. The wine is excellent and the nightly special are exquisite. However, the price is not as high as you would expect for the food you get, 3 star price - 5 star restaurant.

It is out in the Country but the food and the service were delightful. Nice servings. Wait staff was very helpful

This is a beautiful and unique restaurant with the best steak in the area. It is attached to a winery and offers many distinctive wine choices.

We stopped in here coming from Kuiper's Farm after a long day of picking apples. We wanted to do the wine tasting and we were served right as we walked in. The building is impressive and kind of awesome. Like a mansion in the middle of nowhere. Wine was pretty good. Like most Illinois wine, they are a little sweet for my liking, but the service and atmosphere made the experience enjoyable and we still ended up leaving with a few bottles.Tastings cost $1 per one ounce pour.

Looking at the Acquaviva Winery building it does seem small but don't let that fool you. Once inside I was treated to a winery tour. I was shown the process of when the first grape comes in to when the wine is bottled. It was a very informative tour. Next I was given samples of the wine that they produce. The samples tasted great and I purchased some of my favorites. After the tour and tasting I went ahead and had lunch. The food was good and one could have the wine they purchased with their meal. Not only that but they had a nice dining area that could easily be used to cater parties, wedding receptions and other events.
