This is a cool museum like display of just a few pieces of Machinery along with various displays and simulators that showcase the history and Technology of John Deere. I went during the week mid day and it was not busy at all, and got to talk with a several of the workers, who were all really friendly and very informative, many were employees at John Deere. Excellent Stop. Also, went over to the John Deere Store, and they had a huge selection of John Deere Apparel, Books and Toys. Awesome place!

This was a destination stop for our road trip. My wife is from a John Deere farming family and we wanted somewhere to stop on the way to the national parks. Farming history was interesting and the tractors were fun to climb all over. The only improvement I would like to see is more antique dark equipment. A progression of John Deere equipment through the decades would really enhance the experience.

Moline is my hometown and one of my grandfathers retired from John Deere so I have ALWAYS had a spot in my heart for that company. That being said this is a beautiful building and a great place to visit no matter what your age! There are workers (or volunteers???) that will give you a tour if you want and provide additional information about the company and items in the building. It is always fun to climb on the tractors, combines, etc. and get a sense for just how large they really are! I highly recommend visiting if you are in the Quad Cities and take the opportunity to learn about the history of this company and where they are today. They also have a great gift shop right next door connected by a large canopy that you should visit as well! Again, great for kids of all ages!

Excellent place to visit! Very educational! Grandchildren were totally engrossed! Loved getting up on the equipment on the display floor! Video is very informative and I suggest watching that with the children.

When visiting moline .Visitors should visit the John deere Pavillon. Many products are on display and there are guides to answer any question you may have

Very educational and interesting for all ages. Our 6 year old grandson loved climbing on the equipment, and our 13 year olds enjoyed all of the information about John Deere, as well as world information. Do not miss going there when visiting the Quad-Cities.

Must see for those linked to the land - farmers, contractors, loggers and landscapers. John Deere's nearly 180 years of history

It doesn't get any better for children of all ages that have an interest in tractors, agriculture and history. Deere and Co. Do it right and it's free!

The Pavilion is a really cool place to visit. You get to sit in real tractors. They have a few different ones to view and sit in. There is some educational videos and information there too. Very nice place!!!

I was expecting a lot more. John Deere has such a rich history, and this site barely scratches the surface. I was disappointed in how small the place was. Only about 8 machines on display, and a few panels on company history. Deere could easily fill 10 buildings this size. The gift shop was as big as the display area (which I guess shouldn't be a surprise). I'm glad I didn't drive up just for this.

This is a large bright indoors hall filled with tractors, timber cutters and one enormous combine harvester, showcasing the John Deere brand. the displays are well thought out and interesting with a nice balance of history and hardware. There is a childrens area and you can sit in the seat of most big machines. The gift shop is the cheapest place to buy that John Deere cap.

To some this place would be a must-stop, to others maybe not so much... and yet for some half-n-half. It was fine to see, we didn't feel like reading all the history and meandered through the exhibits. It is interesting but thought it was a bit too much to take in... the exhibits were varied and possibly was what I found distracting - there was a timeline on one wall. It does have a little bit for everyone which is good. We were told there's also a museum at the main plant but, did not have time to do both. The store has clothing and tractors and John Deere items for all. Overall, the layout was impressive but maybe I hit it at the end of the day and didn't feel up to "study" the information. John Deere is all-american and for that reason alone it's nice to see the success of this first-class company!

This is a must see in Moline, IL, even for me a Farmall girl from Indiana!! It was very nice to learn the history behind the tractor and see some pretty cool new inventions as well. The Docents are very knowledgable and inviting. It was a very good investment of a few hours, or however much time you have..and it's free!!

This used to be the epicenter of classic antique John Deere farm tractors. Not any more. They had two. Sure, the little kids will love to sit on / inside a humoungus combine. Makes for great family photos. But if you came here to see more beautifully restored tractors from John Deere's storied past, you will be dissapointed. The collection is more like a showroom floor, complete with prices. Why?

Lots of equipment to climb into and gets a hands on experience and pretend your driving. Couple of simulators allowing you to try some equipment out as well.
