This is a great little spot. My friends and I enjoy coming whenever possible. Its right downtown but its not where the kids go so you can sit in a fairly quiet atmosphere and enjoy a drink without seeing the normal unsightly parts of downtown, late-night, party life...although it is next door if that is your thing!

I can't say enough good things about this place. I have been visiting since they opened, and Mark is one of the nicest Scotsman you will meet. Long timers can brew on premise, and he keeps the taps running with many brews that he has created in a small 15 gallon brew. This is Peoria's original brewery and will hopefully keep up the loyalty from locals as it has before the competition started opening as of recent.

We made a special trip to this brewery for the holiday weekend. The beer was ok. The owner was unprofessional. He is ignorant to business practices that would promote his product. Fill growlers despite the label, sell kegs to neighboring restaurants, treat patrons with respect. We will be drinking better beer and having better experiences at the Irish pub next door.

They have 10 hand-crafted brews on tap. Great selection/wide variety that is continuously updated. They brew on-site and you can see it all happening while you enjoy your beer. They don't serve food but do encourage you to bring in your own. We got carry out from a local wings place and took it to Rhodells to sample some beers while we ate our dinner. We did the 4 beer large pour (4.5 ounces each) sampler for just under $10. From that, we picked our favorite and ordered a glass. They don't come to your table so you do have to go up the bar. It is near the IL River with easy parking at a reserved lot just across the street. Cozy, friendly place, Glad I searched for micro brews while in town!
