vintage wings and wheels museum

What a nicely done museum! It is on the grounds of this county airport and is spacious and clean. Exhibits are informative and interesting. We were here for the Wings and Wheels festival with vintage airplanes, cars and tractors filling the grounds. There were so many fly-ins and many more on the ground for an up close and personal look. 15 minute rides in a vintage biplane were offered, and he was going all day. A couple of bands were scheduled for late afternoon and evening. A great destination for a country drive. Well worth the money and it was inexpensive to get in- $5 per person at the time. There are many events year-round and anyone with an interest in vintage airplanes and cars will enjoy the day.
