I live not far from this orchard and was hoping that it had recovered from the drought last year when it wasn't even open. I have brought my kids many years ago here to pick apples and that was a good experience, but I was highly disappointed on my last trip. I arrived on a Thursday (only open Thurs-Sunday) and the door was locked. The owner quickly road over in his golf cart to open the building and was friendly. However, there were maybe 3 bags of pre-picked apples to choose from and no pastries, etc. The owner says these are only available on the weekends. Also now only takes cash-so beware and be prepared, no CC, checks or debit cards. So I left without making a purchase. I really like to support local business and I hope this one can improve to survive.
