There is a traditional and large light display that can be driven through. Each display is done and sponsored by local groups and businesses, so each one is unique and different. And the park also adds many additional lights along the drive. It is free, although at the end, a local person asks which display was your favorite, and there is the opportunity to give a donation - although it is not required and there is no pressure.

An absolutely beautiful park with a winding road complete with a walking path. Park has several baseball diamonds used by Little League and a larger diamond for JV and Pony league baseball. Park also has a fishing pond with easy access and is stocked with trout once a year. A municipal swimming pool for all ages and a historic Chataqua building complement the park. Numerous swings, slides, jungle gyms for all ages are located throughout the park.

We love going through Christmas in the park when we come home to visit at Christmas. My daughter ooohhhs and aaaahhhhhs at all the lights and characters.

it was very open and scenic views..nice trails around the areagood place to picnic and relax..good for families..

Lots of nice enclosures to allow privacy to our group, no AC, but we always took fans. We were comfortable.Lots of things to do outside if you get tired of just talking.

I have lived in Taylorville all my life & gone to the park many times during my life. This years the leaves on the trees were so beautiful. I drive thru the park several differnt times & took lots of pictures. I would like to share some. Thanks
