volusia speedway park

Can't say enough about this place. Opening night for the World of Outlaw Sprint cars . . . where would you rather be? I can't wait to get down here each year for the DirtCar Nationals featuring the Best of the Best in each class. You can go to the 2 1/2 mile Daytona Speedway and watch cars push up towards 200 mph or you could go to Volusia Speedway Park and watch these guys average 140mph on a 1/2 mile dirt track. Is there even a comparison . . . I don't think so! I keep telling my wife, if we move here she'll never have to look hard to find me. I'll be sitting right here smiling from ear-to-ear !

though I've seen dirt oval racing in UK, the Outlaws are beyond comparison. But it can get cold in Florida in the evenings so wrap up warm. Definitely recommended for speed freaks
