We were surprised to find such a nice museum about the Seminole people here. It is very informative. We liked it very much.After the museum we did the outdoor walk along the hammock.A great experience, worth the visit.pore

Day trip as break from beach; shopping. We picked a general area to explore, gassed up the car, and away we went! I pulled Trip Advisor up on my smart phone and checked to see what attractions were recommended. This museum of the Seminole Tribes sounded interesting; after a 2 hour drive there it was in the middle of nowhere! Funded entirely by gambling proceeds, the museum is interesting, there's a beautiful mile long boardwalk that leads to an artisan village, where we bought some jewelry.be sure to watch the 18 minute film before you enjoy the rest of the experience! Great lunch sfterwards at The Sweet Tooth, nearby!

Workers were quite cheerful and anxious to help, explained all aspects of this experience and we ended up buying a membership in the museum. The boardwalk was awesome.

I'm sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience at the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum. We constantly strive to fulfill our Mission to celebrate, preserve, and interpret Seminole culture and history. Every November we host the American Indian Arts Celebration, which features Native American music, dancing, arts, crafts, and foods. We invite you back to that event or many of the other similar events hosted by the Seminole Tribe on its reservations throughout the year.

We learned a lot at this museum. The people are all very nice and friendly. The "village" was a bit of a disappointment, but it is a "must see" when in the area.

Museum is wonderfully outfitted with beautiful displays and a very nice gift shop. The staff was very outgoing, but one of the displays was not working which was a pity. If you are in the area, please stop and visit!
