美丽的海滩,可爱的海豚,愉快的家庭气氛。我们花了25美元,在死海这里租了一个太阳伞和两个椅子。实际上我们自己带了椅子,但是商店不把雨伞和椅子分开租。我们下次还会再来的。

这里距离码头就是10分钟的路程,我们正好在这度过我们的美妙蜜月,这的码头非常干净非常舒适,而且这里可以这样也可以晒太阳,真是一举两得非常便捷。这里住的很舒适。这的主人非常乐意和客人一起享用这的空间。我们度过了一段非常美妙的愉快好时光。而且这里还能看见许多海豚在玩耍。我们在工作日期间来到这里,当时这里已经有许多人。但是还好我们还是有很多空间可以在这里慢慢散步。这里有许多贝壳,还有洁白细软的沙滩,这的海滩真是一望无垠非常美。这的淋浴和洗手间设施非常干净而且相当开阔。这里还有一个小咖啡馆和一个小会客厅,可以满足多功能不同需求。这里还提供热狗和汉堡还有各种软饮。这里提供各种玩耍活动器材和椅子和雨伞的租赁服务,而且还有一些设备是免费的。这的服务员非常棒,我们5岁的孩子玩的很开心。我们感到非常舒心开怀。虽然这里比起其他海滩确实稍微贵一些但是真心很舒适,而且这里没有其他码头那样各种繁杂的船舱进进出出。所以我感觉非常棒。

我们乘坐我们自己的船然后又租了3天的船。但是第二天的时候,我们就决定离开这里。我们的船是19英尺的,我们坐着它去了福罗里达州的所有地方。去大部分地区我们都乘坐它。这里有淋浴,Caladesi也有淋浴,但是只提供给白天在这里的人。这里没有正式的洗浴室。这里主要是为游览船提供服务的。你唯一可以到达这里的方式是乘船或者是摆渡,没有船的人就要摆渡。他们的收费是每人15美元。所以如果你的家里有6个人的话(4个孩子加上两个家长)要花费90美元,再加上8美元去蜜月岛的摆渡费用。他们只允许在那里呆4个小时。他们的网站上是这么说的。他们提供雨伞和两个椅子,这个服务每天还要收25美元的费用。我觉得这个沙滩还可以,但是就像我说的那样,Ft. Desoto更好一些,而且进去的话,花费要少得多。

我整个冬天都忙得脚朝天,所以期盼春天来临的时候享受一个人的春光。我之前完全没有想到这里会曾为我最终放松的地方。尽管你需要坐船才能到达,但依然很方便,10分钟的船程中船夫跟我们分享了很多有用的信息。这里完全属于国家公园,所以除了厕所和海滨以外,再没有别的现代设施了,只有沙子、野生动物和美丽的景色。我带了一把小椅子,坐在距离其他人群20米远的地方,自己一个人静静发呆。说实话我都很不愿意跟大家分享,生怕去人的人太多,毁了这里!

Went to this island with another couple.Cost is $14 each. 20 minute Boat ride was great. Very good facilities. Clean. Lots of palm trees. Many lovely big shells to find. Found one sand dollar!Big roomy beach to enjoy. You can rent chairs with umbrellas or bring your own. It was a trip I will do again.

We took the fairy over to the island. Did see some wild life could rent a kayak to go through the mangroves. Very nice place to visit.

So we got there by boat. It is tricky as the channel is very narrow and very shallow. You can also gain access to it via Honeymoon Island and a ferry. The beaches are beautiful and there are bathrooms and some food to eat but you can bring your own coolers, towels and chairs. We love this place and is well worth the trip to get there. Bring your sunscreen and whatever else as it is an Island but they do have umbrellas and chairs to rent I believe though I have never done so. There are hiking trails, fishing, canoeing and kayaking available. Showers and modern bathrooms. Oh, almost forgot... Beaches and amazing water. just wonderful. And people get married here. Worth the trip to get here. plan to spend most of the day. Pssst, our sunsets are awesome !!!

Scenic route to the island along Dunedin Causeway... The water was amazing . This should be a chart topper for list of places you must visit in Florida... Just breathtaking... and i recommend going close to sundown

We were rained out but if the weather had been better we would have rented kayaks. It was a pretty park, very natural fl. Unless you go in the summer, bring an umbrella, a windbreaker, and towels/blankets. Bc it's cold with the wind going and no sun out. The guys running the ferry were very friendly and let us use some throw blankets they had on the ferry and stopped the ferry so we could look at Dolphins.

We traveled to Clearwater from NC just to visit this Island. We had a wonderful time just walking, looking for shells, and enjoying the view. Bring something for the shells, and a camera. There is a nice refreshment/ souvenir place and bathhouse so you don't have to bring a backpack full of water and food if you don't want too. The ferry boat guys were nice and informative. We are already planning a trip next year for a longer time.

All over the world, this is known as THE beach. As former residents, we can say there is a good reason for that. It is nice and clean and beautiful.

You get to Caladesi Island by ferry from Honeymoon Island. I suppose you could also go by some other water traveling vessel. It costs $14 roundtrip by ferry though they also have coupons on their website. The ferry ride is about 15 minutes, and the ferry leaves every 30 or 60 minutes depending on season. The island is so beautiful and serene. The shells are varied and many in good condition. It's fun just walking around. They are in the process of building an observation tower, which will be cool later on.

We paddled to Caladesi from the Dunedin Causeway. We have our own kayaks, but they could be rented on the causeway. The owner of the rental stand was full of helpful information and advice even though we were not renting from him. We headed directly for the marina and the start of the kayak trail. It took about 20 minutes to cross over and we had to watch for boats coming through the channel. Next time we'll head straight for the island and hug the shore to get to the marina. This was our second time to paddle the trail through the mangroves and it was manageable with our 16' boats, but we didn't see any wildlife and wish that we had stayed on the exterior where we had seen more birds. From the other end of the trail we continued to skirt the shore and we found a small sandy beach that made a great lunch spot. Then we continued on to where we could access the other side of the island after a short portage. We had a GPS, which really helped us find the right spot. The wind was up and launching from the other side into the waves was a bit tricky. From there we continued to paddle north around the island and saw sea turtles as well as dolphins before heading back to the causeway. It was a 9 mile trip and it took us about 4 hours including lunch. The island is beautiful and the combination of mangroves, white sandy beaches and birds makes it a magical place.

Just a ferry trip from Honeymoon Island takes you to an escape of your life! Bathrooms and food, yes. No problem I know...I live nearby and witness the excitement from visitors.
