Via CANAM at 35.00 including kart it is reasonable. Fairways and greens in good shape on March 3rd 2015. This is our 3rd visit this year and tee times are respected except today we had a 20 minutes delay, The overall view at each hole is quite nice. It is not a difficult golf and for the women the tee off are quite a distance from the whites.
It is a nice touristcourse in the downtown of Lake Worth. It is located just waterfront, and you can see the see of most of the holes. There is quite wide fairways and good greens. You can play this course normally in four hours. The price can change very much. You can get special prices, but normally the greenfee is more that average of this kind of public courses. This course has very good restaurant too, which you can eat snacks or gourmet style. You can also take some snacks after before you go to 10. hole. The restaurant is very much better than usually.
I needed a course close to where I was staying … I needed a quick T-Off time … and I needed to pay a 'reasonable' price … I got all 3 … it's NOT a championship course but it's in reasonable shape with challenges for the average golferNO driving range but they did offer a chipping area and a putting green … you'll have to keep it straight or run into problems … oh ya … watch out for the iguanas
The only place to play golf during the steamy south florida summer months. You get a nice breeze off the ocean and you're playing golf right next to the intracoastal waterway. Bradley's is a huge improvement to the clubhouse and has great specials when you hit the 19th hole lol!
I paid $35 to play this course and feel I was totally ripped off. This course was probably a nice facility twenty years ago, but years of neglect have turned it into a disgrace. The "greens" were divided into two types: those with a patchwork quilt of clumsily laid sod mixed with sand; temporary greens that were like straw.I actually enjoyed playing there, but only because the course conditions were laughably bad. It was fun waiting to see if the next green could be any worse than the previous one. This course is another sad reflection of the fact that there are too many courses in Florida and not enough money to maintain them. Whoever is running this place clearly has lost control or just doesn't care.Seriously. Avoid like the plague.
We love playing here. The course is manageable and even though it is short, it is not cramped. There are a few holes lined by houses, but you never feel cramped. The buffers between holes are great. There is not a driving range, but a chipping/putting practice area. The course runs along the inter-coastal waterway so you see a lot of great wildlife, like the iguana's on the 6th tee!! They also have a nice restaurant, Bradley's which has outside seating and even fire pits with a great outdoor bar! They only down side of this place is, it is crowded and the staff could be more friendly- the pro shop is kinda rude. But overall- one of my favorite places to play!
Lake Worth golf course is a good layout right on the banks of Lake Worth which gives it a real wow factor, but sadly it was get down by the greens, although they were fairly smooth there was far to much grass on them and they felt like you were putting on the fairwaysThis was a real pity as I was staying 2 blocks from the course and it would have suited me to play this more than the once that I did. With the layout and its position on the Lake, it should and could be really good but fot the greens and as they green fees are similar to other courses in the area that are in far better condition, I would not rush back until they greens improved.
The course has never looked better since the golf course renovations. The greens are great. The green fees are more than affordable and now they have a great little restaurant where you can enjoy lunch overlooking the Intracoastal.
A nice somewhat challenging 18-hole course along the intercoastal waterway in the city of Lake Worth.
We played this course again after a year gap because it appeared to be getting good reviews. The fairways were ok but the greens were unacceptably poor. The greens were patchy and cut at inconsistent grass lengths and had been completely over sanded . At a peak round cost of $45 pp this course is in the same bracket as PB National, Atlantic National and Atlantis and a whole host of other courses , all of which offer significantly better playing conditions. Conclusion is therefore don't bother with this course!
For a public golf course, this is really nice. Personnel are friendly and pleasant, attractive dining room, course is reasonably well-kept if not as challenging for the expert. And the IntraCoastal Waterway runs alongside all the holes, providing a lovely view as well as a breeze in the tropical climate.
Most of the holes are on the inter-coastal. Needless to say, the views are great. Unfortuately the fairways are like a cow pasture, and the greens were as bad. I was told that they were putting new greens in ,so don't dismiss this until you check.
Interesting public course. Wind off the coast plays a bit with the game. Price was right for February.
Il s'agit d'un parcours relativement facile ou il n'y a pas vraiment de défi mais qui est amusant entre amis..
