We met in the offices and started the tour. We got to see their superbowl trophy and some great photos on the wall of Shula/Marino. We were taken to the owner suite and to the club they have in the stadium. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and very entertaining. We also got to go into the locker room and take photos of everything.. It was cool to see where they are before games and the tradition they do before a game. we also got to walk on to the field and take photos.. We ended in the Dolphin cheerleaders practice room and led to the store at the end. It was so much fun.even my husband who is a 49er fan enjoyed the tour.If the store is to expensive for ya the Walmart around the corner had 3 isles designated to miami Dolphins..everything you can think of they had for sale:)
Whether you're a fan of the Dolphins, or Marlins (the Marlins played here til 2013) doesn't even matter. The stadium has hosted so many Super Bowls, your fave team probably won the big game here! And don't forget the Marlins won both of their World Series in 1997 and 2003 here.
Our first experience of a NFL game live. Fantastic atmosphere and a must if you visit Miami. Easy to get tickets via Ticketmaster.
This place is huge and massive... It is dated and instalations need a major remodeling.... Chairs are uncomfortable and very little space to move. Lots of parking spaces around, but at a hefty price! Xould use better food as well.... Don't fo hungry to a game.... Or you will have to eat mediocre fast food.... Well I was nice with thet comment!
Even in the top levels you can view the football games great. Obviously closer is better but if you're on a budget you'll still have great views of every play.
Our second visit to the Sun Life Stadium to take in a Miami Dolphins NFL game. We'd definitely call this a "must do" for anyone visiting southern Florida! We traveled from Naples of the west coast so it's about a 90 minute drive. We usually add a night in the Miami area to avoid the drive back same day but it's perfectly doable from the Naples area. We are from the UK but whether you are fans of NFL or not this is a fantastic experience and a great day out! The stadium atmosphere is fantastic and the whole game day experience is truly amazing! Plenty of choice for food and drink outlets (puts UK sporting venues to shame). A real fun atmosphere makes this one of the highlights of our trips to florida!
We saw the Dolphins/Bills game this week and it was great. My 1st time to an NFL game. Beats going in New York this time of year. They really put on a show when the game starts- fireworks and lasers. Pretty wild. The stadium is a bit old and not many food choices but the crowd was wild. We had really great seats in section 116. It was definitely great to see a live game and enjoy Thursday night football.
We went to the Dolphins/Chargers game after a cruise. We only had a backpack & a purse with us, neither of which we were allowed to take into the stadium. You can check your bag for free & you are given a claim ticket, so hold onto it. Nice stadium, plenty of restrooms & concession stands. For this game, they continued to run out of pretzles at each stand i was in line for...15 minutes for them to bake new ones. Also, not everything is available at every stand. Pain in the butt. Overall, very accessible via taxi & well kept stadium.
Great stadium, we were there for the Dolphins vs. Chargers game, being our first visit to the stadium we did not know that the interstate takes you right to the stadium. Which is awesome but we had planned on stopping before getting therefor cash to park. When we got to the parking attendant she was kind enough to let us park for free, even though we told her we had $10 in cash on us.Restrooms clean and very short line for the women's. We sat in the family zone, which was great.
Located west near Dade & Broward county line. Built with no tax dollars, and named Joe Robbie Stadium. It has no retractable roof, but is very comfortable facility. Parking, concession stands, restrooms are fine, but expensive. It was later called: Sun Life Stadium, then Pro Player, now "Dolphin Stadium". It has held Super Bowls and other major events. It is the home for Miami Hurricane games, the major client is the Miami Dolphins. That's what I went to see yesterday. It was worth the value. Cost $$$. Kansas City beat Miami.
This is not the first time I come to the stadium however it is the first time I cannot go in with my purse!!! 7:00pm week game I'm either on vacation or coming from work (which was my case). I had tickets to the suite level and I had to take my purse back to the car because the people that decide what goes in or not didn't like my purse. Seriously! I have make up stuff from work and the worst I saw few people in with bigger purses. Really depressing. Isn't enough with searching in the bag? How can a visitor feel? Isn't that unsafe to be be here? Come on!
The orange bowl match was a fantastic spectacle. However, not so spectacular was the extortionate prices of the food and beverages at stadium. 3 small chicken fingers and a small portion of chips for $10 was more than painful to hand over to the person working at the till. However, this did not deter from the fantastic pyrotechnics and other entertainment that was on show, therefore rating it "Very Good".
I have a review for the Sun Life stadium for the Miami Dolphins and San Diego Chargers game. Most games are played at 1 pm and be prepared to get a sun burn and dress accordingly, not much shade in this place.
Enjoyed!Very Good! - Monster Jam – Monster Trucks, food and drinks…The event is very good for kids and fathers; sometimes the women don’t enjoy this all cars, trucks jumping and crashing…
Considering that this stadium is no less expensive than other stadiums in other major cities, it is in dire need of a makeover. Granted, the city didn't pass the bill which would've renovated the place, but may be time for the owner to invest some capital.
