Best Peru Tours is the way to go if you are traveling to Cusco or Machu Picchu. Everything worked as planned. The tour guides were very knowledgeable, Fabiola set-up the tour and coordinated it perfectly with the people/hotels/airline in Peru. The representatives in Peru were on time and very professional. Thanks Reuben and Angela in Cusco. They are truly the Best tour company in Peru. The price was also very reasonable based on the services that were provided.

We went to Peru including Lima, Cusco and Machu Picchu in January of 2015. I truly cannot say enough good things about Best Peru Tours! Everything was so organized, prompt and no details overlooked. The price was very reasonable, and it did not feel like you were on a "tour" vacation in the sense of large groups. Several of our tours were personal, and others were 4 to 12 other people. All of the guides told wonderful stories, and we made many friends, and also had time to explore on our own. On the last day of our vacation, after the tour had actually ended, my husband had his passport stolen at a Starbucks. We called the Best Tours emergency number and a young man immediately came to our hotel and escorted us around for 7 hours, helping us to file the police report, go back to the Starbucks and file a report, and to the American Embassy. He translated all the way for us...we would have been there for an extra several days had it not been for his outstanding assistance. As it was, we left on time, as originally planned. Best Peru Tours was recommended by a co-worker and they more than lived up to expectations. Our agent David Ochoa was extremely helpful and courteous as we worked together to build our itinerary for Lima, Cusco and Machu Picchu. Hotels were great (of course I checked them out ahead of time), transportation wonderful and every pick up and drop off was executed perfectly. We were always well informed even when there were changes. The tours were fabulous, extremely knowledgeable guides and plenty of time for us to go out on our own if we wanted to. From 3 to 6 February 2015 my wife and two friends and I took a tour to Cusco and Machu Picchu using Best Peru Tours. The price was very reasonable, about half of what our cruise ship would have charged. The service from initial contact by e-mail to support on the ground was excellent. Aris Ramos was our contact at head office and he was always available to answer questions whenever they came up. Our Lima guide met us off our cruise ship and took us to the airport and waited until we were checked in. Our Cusco guide, Jimmy Aragon, met us at the airport and took us to our charming little hotel and explained our intinerary for the rest of our trip. This included a four hour walking/bus tour of Cusco and region the next day and a trip to and tour of Machu Picchu the day after. He gave us highlighted maps of the city. We were picked up the next day by a guide and driver who dropped us off at the location of the four hour tour. This was an excellent guided tour that included sites within and outside Cusco and we were let off close to our hotel at the end of the trip. The next day Jimmy met us with a driver and a detailed itinerary and highlighted maps of our trip to Agua Caliente and Machu Picchu. The trip was very efficiently conducted by Peru Rail and we were met by a guide who escorted us on a tour on Machu Picchu. The tour was a little challenging (our ages range from 66 to 69) but not unreasonable and the guide was very informative. On our return to Cusco we were met by another guide and driver and driven back to our hotel where we found the next day's instructions left by Jimmy. The next day Jimmy and a driver picked us up and drove us to airport where Jimmy stayed until we checked in. Other than meals and tips we never paid an admission fee or taxi fare and felt that we were very well taken care of. We all highly recommend Best Peru Tours. Let me start by start by saying that my mother and myself planned on this trip for several months and after reading reviews on Best Peru Tours, decided to go with them. David Ochoa was extremely kind, accommodating and always got back to me quickly. He allowed us to create our own itinerary exactly as we wanted it. We visited various cities in Peru (Lima, Cuszo, Puno, Arequipa).Well everything went as planned and on schedule. At each of our destinations a guide and driver were waiting for us. Each guide gave us a history of where we were. Our guides took wonderful care of us with transfers, hotel check in, airport, etc. We never had to worry that we would be forgotten. Lots of peace of mind there. The hotels that were recommended were wonderful and we were very happy about their locations, cleanliness, and service. All the city tours adn excursions that we did were wonderful and we met other lovely travelers on the way. It was truly a fun filled vacation that exceeded my expectations and needless to say I would recommend Best Peru Tours to anyone who is looking to travel to Peru. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. I have traveled to many other parts of the world and have used many different agencies, but Best Peru Tours is by far the best. Best Peru Tours allowed us to create an itinerary that worked for us. Aris Ramos was very helpful and patient with our questions and concerns. Carlos in Lima was extraordinary. He gave us a brief history of Peru, directed us to restaurants and sights. He handled our arrivals and departures of airports and hotels with professionalism and was a joy to spend time with. This November my husband and I traveled to Peru. Our trip was planned by Best Peru Tours (David Ochoa). We were very impressed how good everything was organized and we never had any issues or problems. Our hotels were good and center located, scheduling went very smoothly and tours were extremly interesting. The service and the tour guides were extremly friendly and we had one of our best vacations ever. Best peru tours was the best travel agency that I have ever dealt with! They respond to your email quicky and accommodate your needs! My family and I visited Cuzco and machu piccu in April 2014 and we had the most memorable vacation! There planning of our stay including air fare, hotel, transportations and our entire day planned to the sacred valley machu piccu was flawless! I highly recommend them! Very safe and honest!

The agency set up all my tours and accommodations and everything was well planned and alot of fun! The agents were always available to answer questions and make changes as needed. It was a very interesting trip and I loved the people of Peru and my whitewater rafting trip. Machu Picchu was the highlight of course,and it did not disappoint!

We did a 12-day tour of Peru 1 Sept 2014 and there is no way it could have gone better. Joyce, our agent, went above and beyond to tailor the trip WE wanted. This was the first time we have ever used a travel agency, but I can assure you it will not be our last, at least with BestPeruTours.From accommodations, to guides, to logistics, our trip was flawless. One example, leaving the train at Aguas Calientes, it was raining and we just didn't look for our guide/contact, but walked right to the bus stop. Upon realizing our error, I returned to the station. The station clerk, took my info, provided by our Cusco contact, made a call and within 3 minutes a young lady came, met me and said they had "found" my wife and were with her. Now THAT is truly impressive.In my mind, there is no way our trip could have been better planned or executed.

This was a complex three week long trip to plan. There were four of us with three different itineraries that needed to be coordinated. David at Best Peru Tours was able to accommodate all our requests and everything meshed together just great. He picked great hotels for us in Lima (Four Points by Sheraton), Aguas Calientes (Casa Del Sol) and at Hotel Solymar on Santa Cruz Island in the Galapagos. The day tours mostly excellent and covered great sights. My daughter hiked the Inca Trail as part of the trip and we meet her at the Machu Picchu (MP) entrance gate as she finished her hike. My girlfriend and her sister had hiked from MP to the Sun Gate the day before so we got a very small taste of what she accomplished.On the Galapagos, my girlfriend and I were hotel based and took day trips out to other islands. This is a great way to go. Given this was such a complex trip there were a few minor glitches. The airlines changed a flight time at the last minute. We were booked into the wrong hotel in Cuzco. (Cuzco is AMAZING!) But with some patience everything worked out just fine. David was very prompt in refunding us the difference for the Cuzco hotel mix-up after we arrived home. I highly recommend Best Peru Tours for your trips to Peru and/or Ecuador. They have great contacts in those countries and I'm sure you will not be disappointed!

We booked our 13 day Peru Trip with Best Peru Tours, and I can't say enough good things about them. We didn't want a tour where you got on a bus with 30 people everyday and were shuffled along. Joyce was amazing in working with us to plan a customized itinerary. When we arrived in Lima(late) Omar was there with his friendly face and helpful advice. Every connection went smoothly,transfers to hotels, trains, buses; all on time and perfect. You can call them at anytime if you have a question and they will resolve any issue you have . We were never on a tour with more than 5 people, which was awesome. Our tour guides were professional and friendly, and very knowledagble. Our hotels were located in convenient places, we visited Lima, Sacred Valley, Cusco and Paracas. You can't go wrong by using this company. Highly recommend.

We are a Canadian family of 4 and booked our Amazon/ Cusco / Lake Titicaca / Lima tour with Best Peru tour (total 12 days). I must say the price is very reasonable – all hotels/ point to point transportations/ excursions/ some meals are included in the price. We traveled in August and booked the tour in April. Then in mid-July, someone from the Best Peru Tour called me at work and asked me if it is good with me to make minor changes to my itinerary which is alright at my part. They changed my date of one of my domestic flights. When they called, I was very busy at work and completely forgot about the changes that they made. I did not receive the revised itinerary as such when I arrived at Lima 1:30 am in the morning and was at shock that I am not checking in at the Lima Airport Ramada as I thought it would be. Cut the story short, there has been some disconnects between myself and the tour operator. To be fair I can’t totally put the blame on Best Tour.One other note – the service of the agent in Puno is below expectation. Our flight from Puno to Lima leaves at 1:15 pm. The airport is in Julica which is about 45 minutes away from Puno. The agent was supposed to pick us up at 11 am which I feel is a bit tight in time. The agent re-assured me that it is enough time to get to the airport. But then they were late, arrived the hotel at 11:15 which I was not pleased. Then on the way the driver stopped for gas!!! We cut it so close arriving the airport, ran to check in our bags. I don’t want this kind of stress while I am on vacation. I hope Best Peru Tour can relay this concern to the Puno agents.One last point – the package price is based on 3* hotels. I did upgrade some of my hotel stays. If I knew ahead of time, I would pay a bit extra to upgrade all hotels. There is nothing wrong about the hotels that come with the package. Peru’s 3* does not provide the level of comfort as a 3* in North America.
