My family and I have been fishing with Big Bend Charters for about 9 or so years now. Capt. Brian Smith is fantastic! We always have a fun time whether it is our family of four with one small child (6 yrs) or whether it is my husband with some of his friends. Capt. B will keep you on the fish! He knows how to find the best places in the area to fish. If there is something specific you want to try to catch Brian does his best to get you on it. He has a nice boat with plenty of fishing equipment for everyone on board to use. There are two big comfy bean bags for travel time on the boat, perfect for catching a few winks on the trip back to the Sea Hag Marina after a full day of reeling them in! Brian and his wife, Gina, are always helpful when setting up excursions and he is very careful when dealing with changing sea conditions. If Capt. B doesn't think it is safe to go out, he will let you know beforehand and they will do their best to reschedule for another day. He has always had a good mate on board to help out and they help to make sure that you get as much fishing time in as possible. We even tried scalloping this summer and had a blast! Give them a try! I have fished with Capt. Brian for more than 10 years and he runs a great, first class operation. He always puts us on fish and shows us a great time. He and his wife Gina make a great team.
