I have had to change from my local course to this venue. These guys have been great. I play 2x per week about 50 weeks out of the year (100+ games per year somewhere). I have just started playing this course regularly within the last 3 weeks and they have been very accommodating and seemed interested in making arrangements for the year round players while still accommodating the winter (snowbirds) visitors. I just like the friendly and approving atmosphere. They have little perks that many do not have (free water & snack cart traveling the fairways). The course is challenging and in pretty good shape. Look to continue my relationship and possibly entertain an annual membership with them.

Played this course yesterday at the invitation of a friend. Like this course and better than almost all in eastern Hillsborough County. The staff is friendly. The course is in excellent shape. Greens run fast. The course is challenging, yet allows the average golfer to play well. Because the fairways are pretty open on most holes, it allows for the casual slice or hook and still find the ball.

This was probably one of the most boring, uninspiring golf courses I have played in 30+ years. The course may have been one of the best when it first opened, but there are way, way too many good golf courses to play. Save your money. This is a $25 course, not the over $40 we were charged. Course is ragged and not too much money goes into upkeep of the course. Traffic getting to the course in the town of Brandon was horrible.

Wow! Super fast greens. Very good conditions at this course, as always. Staff is great. Can't wait to get back there!

Club was once a class act, but lately it's lonely on the links. Plays like an average public course. No marshalls out there, but at least a snack truck comes by once in a while. Just ok if your usual course has some temp problem.

Play here often with friends. Challenging course but not too hard. Friendly staff & reasonably priced.

This course is only interested in how many people they can get on the course. They overbook tee times and will start people on the back in front of you. Don't be fooled by the web site, this course hasn't been rated as a top course in almost 20 years. No ranger, so people will do whatever they want. And Greg the Manager is the worst. He will tell you anything to get you out on the course, and then doesn't care if they pack people in by putting them out in front of you. And the course is really minimally kept up, no new sand in, well, I don't remember the last time they put new sand in, you will see some grass growing. And they wont tell you if they plug the greens, it will be a surprise at full price. Too many other good courses, so stay away.

If you read their wedsite it states "Bloomingdale Golfers Club has been voted Tampa Bay‘s #1 Golf Course 10 years in a row and will certainly retain top billing with the addition of new Champion Turf greens. Why a "Golfers Club?” We don't have swimming, tennis nor a gym. What we have is a world-class golf course backed with service from people who know and love the game." What they failed to tell you is the Bloomingdale Golfers Club has not been ranked in the top 10. The course is in desperate need of some maintenance. They are right they do not have a swimming pool nor tennis or gym but they do an unprofessional staff who is in desperate need of some hospitality training. When I walked into the pro shop with a buddy the individual behind the counter had no idea I had been standing there for a few minutes because he was to busy texting. When he finally put down his phone took my green's fee and gave me a cart key. He then again answered a few text messages before attending to my buddy who was standing next to me. So we headed to the first tee only to find two groups waiting to tee off with a single in the fairway and a foursome on the green. We finally tee'd off at 12:47pm. It was a long and painful front nine. It took us 3 hours and 20 minutes. When we made the turn we noticed a foursome ahead of us. They told me the shop told them they could go off the 10th hole. I realized the pro shop is ONLY interested in collecting your money. I informed them we just made the turn and there are players behind us. They refused to move so I headed into the pro shop. I had a short conversation with the assistant pro and he walked out with me only to tell the guy putting carts away to see what the hold up is on the 10th hole. WOW.. We made it to the 16th tee at 6:21pm. It was to dark to golf so we headed in. I have NEVER disrespected a golf course in my 32 years in the business but I would be doing an injustice to a golfer who was interested in playing this course.. STAY AWAY!!!!!

The course is a decent course but the staff is clueless on how to run the course. I just played the course yesterday 01/01/2013 and there was NO Starter and NO Ranger. When I pulled up to the tee box to start my round the group on the tee box said they were running an hour behind, that is just unheard of to me. When we was FINALLY able to start our round (an hour later) I noticed no one was filling in the divots nor were they fixing ball marks on the greens. Also I had the pleasure of enjoying the unraked and unkept sand traps. On top of all of this our golf cart died with 4 holes to go!Overall I wouldnt recommend this course to anyone.

Course is above average within the Tampa area. Problem is the overbooking of T-times. Then you have the ranger coming by rushing players. Feel sorry for players shooting over 100 because they will get rushed!! Stafff not the most friendly in the area.

first they ran out of carts. we had a 2 hour wait on the day after thanksgiving. We've been a few times... you're waiting on about every tee box. i won't be back

Very nice course with well kept greens and fairways.

Came here with on outing and had a good time. Like many golf courses across the country, the economy has taken it's toll. The greens are in good contidion but the fairways are in need of some help. One tell was the golf carts which seemed to need some maintenace as well as most had at least one bald tire. All in all, not a bad course and staff was very friendly, and the food was good. Typical of most courses in the Tampa area, this is very affordable. There are better courses to be played, but at a higher cost. This is a good spot to practice so when you play Innisbrook, you will look like you belong.

The golf course has not been rated in the top 10 for close to 20 years. Greens are pretty good, but the rest of the course is getting worse. Many of the fairways are now full of weeds, and sand traps go unattended for a week at a time. While the layout is very good, there are too many other courses in much better shape, so I would skip this one until they improve the fairways and spend some money on maintenance.

It was a challenging but relaxing at the same time. Would play again when I am in the area.
