Great tour, and Karen is very knowledgable. We went to a couple of interesting farms and saw lots of horses - some to pet and others to just observe.

Plain and simple, this is a great tour and well worth the time and money. Our guide, Robin, was extremely knowledgeable about all of the various farms in the area, breeds and what is going on in the industry. It is a small group (10 or less) which is nice. She drove us through the country, stopping at a handful of farms for an up close look and always describing everything in great detail. Thanks to Robin and the tour operators for a morning of education and entertainment.

Robin, our tour guide, was amazing...so full of knowledge and wit! She took us behind the scenes for a look at the thoroughbred industry in Marion County. Her passion for horses was so infectious. We came away very enlightened and appreciative. You really get your money's worth!!

We toured several Ocala Horse Farms. Started with baby Arabian foals and ended with the big Thoroughbreds at stud. Karen has great knowledge of the local horse business in Ocala. We had read about HITS and the horse shows there, and now that we took her tour we understand when to go, where to park, where to eat and what to see. Great day.

A must do experience if spending any time in central FL! A beautiful drive through horse country with a variety of stops along the way, learning something new about horses at every venue visit.

Karen was a very knowledgable and personable guide. She not only has a vast knowledge base of the horse breeding industry, but she also has a love for horses and for the Ocala horse farm community. The tour went through miles and miles of beautiful horse farms. When we stopped at farms, Karen provided carrots for feeding to ensure that the horses stayed by our side. Highly recommend this tour.

My mother and I really enjoyed this trip. Karen is very knowledgable, and we saw a lot of beautiful ocala horse country, and lovely farms and horses. Even as a central fl horse person it was an enlightening experience. Horse farms are better than Disney world!

The Farm tour with Karen is a window into a multimillion dollar industry and she knows the business well. The tour is well worth the price and is wonderful look into the horse business. We saw four farms and all very different . Depending on the time of year, you will see different things going on at the farms. I think this tour is excellent and a great way to see working farms.

We enjoyed a tour of some of the most beautiful horse farms around Ocala. Our guide was very well informed and obviously knows many of the people who own and raise the beautiful horses in the area. She and her partner gave us many insider bits of information that really enhanced the tour for us. The $35 was well worth it.

This tour was the highlight of our trip to Florida. In all our trips to the state we only discovered this tour recently. Karen Grimes does a fantastic job as your tour guide. She has first hand knowledge of the horse industry. We were taken to local horse farms, racing track areas and a stud farm while learning so much along the way. We even got to feed carrots to the young ones and got to see how the pecking order prevails even with horses. They know which ones have the authority in the group. We got to see and learn so much we didn't want the tour to end. Karen is such a friendly person and answered all of our questions. If you are in the Ocala area we recommend you take this tour.
